and accounts filed against Kerr County, since March 13th, 1953, session of this court, against
the Road and Bridge ~2, and Road and Bridge #4. It appearing to the court that such c:Laims
and accounts should be paid, therefore by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Bartel, and
unanimously approved by the court, and the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw
vouchers against the County Treasurer in like amounts payable out of their respective :funds.

made and agreed to by part of the court members and quoted to Mrs. Ray Kilborn, nee Kitchen
by the County Attorney, James E. Nugent, in his letter of correspondence on settlement for

appearing to the court that no minutes in regard to said offer had been previously entered
and that the discretion of the court is, that the offer made and quoted by the County Attorney
should be confirmed at this ti_-ne. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie
and unanimously approved by the court, that the offer quoted by the County Attorney in the
amount of X65.00 to Mrs. Ray Kilborn, nee Kitchen, for the damage to her property on the pro-

of a hearing to employ an architect, before any other plans are had in regard to the con-
structing of the agricultural building as a result of the election had on March 24th, 1953,
authorizing the issuance of X200,000.00 bonds. It appesring to the court that it would be to
the best interest of Kerr County to set a date for hearing as of Friday Apr. 24th, 1953 at
9:00 oTclock A. P,1. to heir various architects, in order that the Commissioners Court may
determine an architect best nualified for this ;roject. Therefore by motion duly icade by
Guthrie, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the court that Friday, Apr. 24th,

This the 17th day of April, A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the court the original
application for a third class road dated March 21st 1953 executed by eleven property ovaners
along the proposed route, which application was originally filed on March 24th, 1953 and was
withdrawn on the advisement of the Commissioners Curt and re-filed on the 17th day of April,
A. D. 1953, after all parties had re-executed said petition showing a change therein from a
~^ third class to a second class road. It appearing to the court that the amended petition for
second class road should be approved and that proper notices should be issued in accordance
with the law. Therefore by motion duly made by Gaff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously
approved by the court that the petition for a second class road made by Robert A].7erkamp and
others should be ^ranted and that proper notice should be made to co„ml,y with the law £or
the establishment of a second class road.
