This the 17th day of April, A. D. 19tH, came on to be presented to the court the original
application for a third class road dated March 21st, 1953 executed by eleven praperty ovaners
along the proposed route, which application was originally filed on March 24th, 1953 and was
withdrawn on the advisement of the Commissioners Court and re-filed on the 17th day of April,
A. D. 1953, after all parties had re-executed said petition showing a change therein from a
r third class to a second class road. It appearing to the court that the amended petition for
second class road should be approved and that proper notices should be issued in accordance
with the law. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously
approved by the c~:urt that the petition for a second class road made by Robert A1]erkamp and
others should be granted and that proper notice should be made to cor,:rl,y with the law for
the establishment of a second class road.

employment for their professional services in the erection of an agricultural building, as a
result of the:00,000.00 bond issue voted as of March 24th, 1953. "therefore the court heard
the following architects who submitted their requests for services to-wit:

It a?~pearing to the court that in order to make a deligent selection, that such selection

seconded by Guthrie, and unanir,:ously approved. by the court, that the selection and emp:Loyment
of an architect should be deferred until the regular May term, 1953.
