D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court, the necessity for the care and nursing of Riley Smith, a paralytic and an indigent person of Kerr County, Texas. Ulherefore the court has previously disbursed for the care and nursing of said party the sur.1 of X10.00 for a 24 hour day, that Phoebe Tredwell, 837 Clay Street, Kerrville, Texas, is willing to care, nurse, furnish linens, laundry and board to the said Riley Smith, in her own per month home for ~150.OC~,and in the discretion of the court such amount is reasonable and just, and should be allowed. Upon request of Pdrs. Tredwell, she should be authorized such amount payable in advance and in monthly installments thereafter until further determined by the court. There- fore by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the court, that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw voucher in the amount of X150.00, paq- able to Phoebe Tredwell in advance out of the General Fund of Kerr County, Texas, to care, nurse, furnish linens, laundry and board for Riley Smith, for period to begin May 11th, 1953 extending through June 11th, 1953, inclusive, and for each monthly period thereafter until further deter- mined by the court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o No.6057.G:L41tiTISG TRAViiING EXPEi~iSE REVISIONd IN PAYMF.I~TT OF SALARY AND TRAVELING EXPEriSE. This the 11th day of P~?a y, A. D. 1953 came on to be considered by the court the necessity for to grant a traveling ex~nse/the County Home Demonstration Agent,as this court has been informed by the Agricultural Extension Service Texas A. & M. College System, that Kerr County would not be offered a County Home Demonstration Agent for the salary allowed for Kerr County's pro rata part as fixed by this court on January 16th, 1953, under order No. 5907. V7herefore the court has been requested that such traveling er_pense be a]lowed, and that same should be revised and pro rated as a salary and tra~aling expense. It appearing to the court that in lieu of the aforementioned order No. 5907, passed by this court, that Kerr County's pro rata salary for the County Home Demonstration Agent be fixed at X1500.00 per annum, and that the traveling expense be allowed and fixed at X500.00 per annum for said agent and that upon employment of a County Home Demonstration Agent such salary and traveling expense should be figured at the rate herein granted and payable on the last day of each month for her services performed. Therefore,by motion dulp made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved by the court that the expense be salary of the County Home Demonstration and travelin{ / revised and fixed at x"1500.00 per annum as salary and $500.00 per annum as traveling expenses, payable out of the General Fund of Kerr County at the end oP each month pro rated to any agent employed by this court. This order be- ing entered subsequent and in lieu of Order No. 5907 passed by this court on January 16th, 1953, when taken in connection with Kerr County's pro rata part of salary and traveling expenses and the amount thereof to be paid said Kerr County Home Demonstration Agent. o-o-o-o-o-o-o No. 6058.
