$1600.00 per annum as salary and X500.00 per annum as traveling expenses in lieu of Order No.
5906, passed by this court on January 16th, 1953, in so far as the division of payment i.s con-
cerned only. It appearing to the court that such requests should be granted as considerable
time is required in keeping the records of said agent's traveling expense and is useless due to
the fact that such agent expends more than X500.00 each year for traveling. Therefore, by
motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by the court that the
County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw vouchers in the amount of X175.00 each month as
salary and $41.66 for traveling expenses, payable to said Guy Powell at the end of each month
beginning ft,ay 31st, 1953 out of the General Fund of Kerr County, Texas. This order entered
subseouent and in lieu of Order No. 5906 dated January 16th, 1953, when taken in connection with
the arrangement and amount of salary paid.

Gen'1. Fd., R. & B., and the necessity to confirm the weekly payroll of the laborers as per
sworn affidavit filed with the County Cleric for the week beginning April 19, 1953, through the
week of May 9, 1953, inclusive, against R. & B. ;~l & 2. It appearing to the Court that :said
claims and accounts filed against each fund sho u1d be paid, and that the payment of the :Labor
bills as per sworn affidavit filed with the County Clerk for the week beginning April 19, 1953,
through Iu1ay 9, 1953, inclusive, be confirmed as paid. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff,
seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court and the County Clerk be and i:s here-
by directed to draw vouchers against the County Treasurer on all claims filed in like amounts
therefor, payable out of respective funds to the parties entitled thereto; that the labor bills
on Road and Bridge #1 and #4, be confirmed as paid, for the weeks beginning April 19th through
ftiay 9, 1953, inclusive.

No. 6061. COURT'S INTENTIOTQ, IN RE: COP.P~NSATIOPS OF COUNTY CLERK.
This the 11th day of P:4ay, 1953, came on to be considered by the Court the necessity to
clarify Commissioner's Court Order ;5926 dated January 16th, 1953. It appearing to the Court
that said order should read that the salary of the County Clerk be X2200.00 per annum, payable
out of the General Fund of Kerr County, and X1550.00 salary per annum to be retained by the
County Clerk out of the fees of his office, vahich constitutes an aggregate salary of X3750.00
per annum. Therefore, motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved
by the Court, that the Court's intention of the salary of the County Clerk under order ~J5926,

annurl out of the General Fund of Kerr County, and X1550.00 per annum to be retained by said
