This the 11th day of May, 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the necessity to
confirm the expenditure of the County Clerk from the County Clerk Fund, the sum of X78.08 of
his 1950 delinquent fees collected in 1951, and the sum of X275.02 expenditure of his 1950
excess fees used to pay his deputies and assistants, as the current fees of his office were in-
sufficient to pay the salaries of his deputies and assistants for the year 1951. Therefore, by
motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by the Court that the
expenditure by the County Clerk from the County Clerk Fund in the sum of X78.08 of the 1950 de-
linquen.t fees collected in 1951, together vaith X275.02 of his 1950 excess fees be confirmed
during the year 1951.

County Clerk, the necessity for funds for the operation of his office as set out in article
#3932, R. C. S. It appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to funds as set out
therein., and that he should be allowed the sum of X500.00, payable to the County Clerk Fund. By
motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff, the vote having carried as Bartel was absent from
the room, the County Clerk be and is hereby authorized the sum of ?500.00, payable to the County
Clerk Fund by proper voucher drawn on General Fund of Kerr County.

This the 13th day of n4ay, 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the sale of the
X200,000.00 Agricultural and Livestock Exhibition Building Fund bonds, which would require an
additional bond as such depository in a sum eeual to the whole amount of such special fund. It
appearing to the Court that the Chas. Schreiner Bank, Uninc. should increase such depository to
such extent and must keep such additional depository in force so long as such funds remain in
by
such depository. Therefore,/motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously ap-
proved by the Court that Chas. Schreiner Bank, Uninc, be notified to increase the County Deposi-
tory Pledge Contract in a sum equal to the whole amount of the Special Agricultural and Live-
stock Exhibition Building Fund, to be kept in force so long as such funds remain in such deposi-
tory. The County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to forvaard a Certified Copy of this order to
the Chas. Schreiner Bank, Uninc , and that this order is made in compliance with Articles 2548
and 2556, R. C. S.

E. Nugent, County Attorney, requesting that Commissioner's Court Order #5961 on page 141, in
Vol, k, be modified to read ^that the Commissioner's Court recuested James E. Nugent, County
Attorney, to assist Joe Burkett, Jr., State Representative, for legislation on erection of '~Var
P„emorial Building and act in cooperation with City of Kerrville and Kerr County." Wherefore,
the Court is of the opin.~on that such request should be granted. Therefore, by motion duly made
by Bartel, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that order j~5961 on page
141, of Vol. K, be caused to read "that T~tr. Sames E. Tdugent, County Attorney, be directed to
