report of County Finances prepared by E. Gold, County Treasurer, and the quarterly tabular
statement by Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk, for the Quarter ending April 30th, A. D. 1953.
;'therefore, the Court, after maY.ing a thorough examination thereof are of the opinion that said
reports are true and correct and should be approved. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff,
seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that said reports be approved and
be filed by the Gounty Clerk for future reference.

conded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the claim filed by Kerrville
Chapter of the American Red Cross for food purchased by said chapter for Riley Smith, an indi-
gent person, in the amount of :4.99, be paid out of the General Fund of Y.err County, by proper
voucher drawn by the County Clerk on the County Treasurer.

This the 15th day of ::iay, A• D. 1953, came on to be presented to the Court a voritten re-
quest of Oliver i:~oore, Sheriff of Kerr County, praying for an increase in salary for his depu-
ties, namely C. A. Rodgers, and Alton Smith. ~'lherefore, the Court after due deliberation feel
that said deputies should be increased in salary in the amount of ~25.U0 per month, retroactive
as of T.'ay 1st, A. D. 1953, the first payment to begin L'ay 31st, A. D. 1953 and payable to each
