This the 16th day of .?ay, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court the Right of
',gay Deed in favor of the State of Texas, executed by Grace Holekamp, Archie Lee StalLran, Clara
Cantwell, and Erna Eelow, conveying 1.176 acre out of Survey /,J61, in the name of i'l. T. Crook.
It appearing to the Court that each of said grantors are entitled to an aggregate of X235.20 as
a full co:!pensation for said land to be used for a new Right of "Jay Farm to P?arket Road r,~689.
Therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the
Court, that the afore.:.entioned Right of EVay Deed be accepted in favor of the State of Texas and '-
that the sum of >235.20 be paid to Grace HoleTcasnp, Archie Lee Stallrian, Clara Cantwell, ,and Erna
Below, for the tract of land consisting of 1.176 acre conveyed for the use of Right of "Jay on

This the 16th day of T.Iay, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the se:Lection
of an architect for the erection of the p200,000.00 Agricultural and Livestock Exhibition Build-
ing. ';Jnerefore, the Caurt has heretofore advertised for the er..ployment of an architect and
have been personally contacted in open court by at least six or more architects, and are of the
opinion that Harvey F. Smith & Associates would be the best rualified architect and should be
selected by the Court, subject to approval of the entering into of a contract with said =Pirri.
Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved by the
Court, that Harvey P. Smith & Associates be selected and employed by Kerr County for the exec- `
tion of the :200,000.00 Agricultural and Livestock Exhibition Buildings,subject to entering into
a contract tivith said firm.
