";lay Deed in favor of the State of Texas, executed by Grace Holekamp, Archie Lee Stallrr,an, Clara
Cantwell, and Erna Below, conveying 1.176 acre out of Survey -`61, in the name of :°!. T. Crook.
It appearing; to the Court that each of said grantors are entitled to an aggregate of `~235.u0 as

Therefore, by notion duly made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the
Court, that the aforementioned Right of 'JJay Deed be accepted in favor of the State of Texas and "
that the sun, of ~i235.20 be paid to Grace Holekamp, Archie Zee Stallnan, Clara Cantwell, and Erna
Below, for the tract of land consisting of 1.176 acre conveyed for the use of Right of °lsy on

This the 16th day of "Iay, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the se:Lection
of an architect for the erection of the X200,000.00 Agricultural and Livestock Exhibition Build-
ing. 'wherefore, the Court has heretofore advertised for the employment of an architect and
have been personally contacted in open court by at least six. or more architects, and are of the
opinion that Harvey F. Smith &, Associates vrould be the best cualified architect and should be
selected by the Court, subject to approval of the entering into of a contract with said :firm.
Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved by the
Court, that Harvey P. Smith & Associates be selected and employed by I{err County for the erec-
tion of the ,200,000.00 Agricultural and Livestock Exhibition Buildin€~s,subjeet to entering into
a contract with said fir.n.
