;ay Deed in favor of the State of Team , executed by Grace Holekamp, Archie Lee Stallrnan, Clara
Cantwell, and Erna Belovr, conveying 1.176 acre out of Survey jr61, in the name of ,`. T. Crook.
It appearing to tL:e Court that each of said grantors are entitled to an aggregate of X235.20 as
a full compensation for said land to be used for a new Right of ".Jay Farrn to L-Iarket Road {,689.
Therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the
Court, that the afore~::entioned Right of VJay Deed be accepted in favor of the State of Texas and
that the sur,. of X235.20 be paid to Grace F?olekamp, Arehie Lee Stal].rian, Clara Cantwell, and Erna
Le1ow, for the tract of land consisting of 1.176 acre conveyed for the use of Right of ~1ray on

of an architect for the erection of the y?,OO,000.00 Agricultural and Livestock Exhibition Build-
ing. '.'~lzerefore, the Court has heretofore advertised for the emplo5~ient of an architect and
have been personally contacted in open court by at least six or more architects, and are of the
opinion that Harvey F. Smith & Associates would be the best cualified architect and should be
selected by the Court, subject to approval of the entering into of a contract with said firm.
Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Pov~ell, and unanimously approved by the

Court, that Harvey P. Smith & Associates be selected and employed by Kerr County for the erec-
tion of the ~>200,000.00 Agricultural and Livestock Exhibition Building s, subject to entering into

mileage and services rendered by Ferdinand Tatsch, John Bailey, and F. A. Hannah, appointed
Special Come:issioners in Condemnation Proceedings in Cause X400, entitled, "The State of TeXas
vs. ~.=arietta Ella {ilborn, nee Kitchins," for the new Ri^ht of ','!ay to be used in the construc-
tion of F. :.:. 1350. It anpearin~ to the Court that each of the aforementioned. Com~.issioners
are entitled to 6~ per. mile and ~3.OC per diem for two days service. It further appearing to
the Court that Ferdinand Tatsch traveled a distance of 100 miles, and John Bailey a distance of
44 miles, and that such commissioners are entitled to said mileage at the rate of 6¢ per mile.
Therefore, by notion duly made by Po;vell, seconded by '=?artel, and unanimously approved by the
Court that County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer
