D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the varitten application for an office deputy and the deputation of Harry B. Bickers, presented by Oliver P:;oore, Sheriff, together with a request to fix said salary at X175.00 per month. It appearing to the Court that L. ~. Dunbar has vacated the position of Chief Deputy SherS.ff; that Alton Sr,;ith has been elevated to said position and that the deputation of Harry B. Bickers should be confirmed vrith a salary of X175.00 per month to begin from June 10, 1955, until the 30th day of ,,.., said month at the rate of X175.00 per month and the County Clerk should be directed to draw voucher payable to Harry B. Bickers on the last of each month, out of the General Fund of Kerr County in the amount of X175.00, until further determined by the Court or t^rhen said Deputy > Sheriff should be relieved by said Sheriff or otherwise terminated. Therefore, by motion duly u.ade by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Harry B. Bickers' appointment as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County begin from June 10th and should remain in force until relieved by said officer or otherwise terminated.
