This the 9th day of June, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the necessity
r' to n.ake transfers of various funds on bank balances and ledgers of the County finances as fully
set out on Fage 2 of the Auditor's report, dated December 31st, 1952. Therefore, by motion
duly made by Bartel, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County
Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to make such transfers as reported by
auditor's report, dated December ~lst, 1953.

This the 9th day of Jwle, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the varitten
application for an office deputy and the deputation of Harry B. Bickers, presented by Oliver
I:ioore, Sheriff, together with a request to fia said salary at ,175.00 per month. It appearing
to the Court that L. ~. Dunbar has vacated the position of Chief Deputy Sheriff; that Alton
Smith has been elevated to said position and that the deputation of Harry B. Eickers should be
confirmed with a salary of ~175.OC per month to begin frori June 10, 1953, until the 30th day of
,., said month at the rate of ,"175.00 per month and the County Clerk should be directed to draw
voucher payable to Harry B. Bickers on the last of each month, out of the General Fund of Kerr
County in the amount of p175.00, until further determined by the Court or when said Deputy
Sheriff should be relieved by said Sheriff or otherwise terminated. Therefore, by motion duly
:ade by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Harry B. Bickers'
appointment as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County begin from June 10th and should remain in force
until relieved by said officer or otherwise terminated. The compensation to be paid said deputy
shall be dra:vn on the County Treasury out of the General Fund, payab le on the last of each
month in the sun: of ?175.00. The month of June being pro rated from the 10th of the month.

This the 9th day of June, A. ~. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the failure
of Gustav Oettermann to accept the proposal of the Commissioner's Court, for the new right of
way for the proposed Farm to P^arket Road 689. It appearing to the Court that an order to pro-
cure the aforementioned right of ~^;a y, it ~.vill be necessary to file condemnation proceedings
against Ts. Oettermann. Therefore, by notion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff, and unan-
imously approved by the Court, that the County Attorney be, and is hereby instructed to file
condemnation proceedings against Gustav Oettermann for the aforementioned right of way, as this
Court is unable to secure the needed right of tivay across TSr. Oettermann's prcperty.
