This the 9th day of June, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the necessity
r to slake transfers of various funds on bank balances and ledgers of the County finances as fully
set out on Page 2 of the Auditor's report, dated December 31st, 1952. Therefore, by motion
duly made by Bartel, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County
Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to make such transfers as reported by
auditor's report, dated December 31st, 1953.

This the 9th day of June, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the written
application for an office deputy and the deputation of Harry B. Bickers, presented by Oliver
P.ioore, Sheriff, together with a request to fix said salary at x`175.00 per month. It appearing
to the Court that L. Dunbar has vacated the position of Chief Deputy Sheriff; that Alton
Smith has been elevated to said position and that the deputation of Harry B. Bickers should be
confirmed with a salary of X175.00 per month to begin from June 10, 1953, until the 30th day of
^. said month at the rate of :175.00 per month and the County Clerk should be directed to draxr
voucher payable to Harry% B. Bickers on the last of each month, out of the General Fund of Kerr
County in the amour_t of p175.00, unti_1 further determined by the Court or vahen said Deputy
Sheriff should be relieved by said Sheriff or othextivise terminated. Therefore, by motion duly
made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Harry B. Bickers'
appointment as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County begin from June 10th and should :remain in force
until relieved by said officer or otherwise terminated. The compensation to be paid said deputy
shall be dra;^m on the County Treasury out of the General Fund, payable on the last of each
month in the suer, of X175.00. The month of June being pro rated from the 10th of the month.

This the 9th day of June, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Cctu•t, the failure
of Gustav Oettermann to accept the proposal of the Commissioner's Court, for the new right of
.., way for the proposed Farr, to r.'arket Road 689. It appearing to the Court that an order to pro-
cure the aforementioned right of v,ay, it vaill be necessary to file condemnation proceedings
against a . Oettermann. Therefore, by ::,otion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff, and unan-
imously approved by the Court, that the County* Attorney be, and is hereby instructed to file
condemnation nroceedin~^s against Gustav Oettermann for the aforementioned right of way, as this
Court is unable to secure the needed right of way across ::Ir. Oetterr.~ann's property.
