port of Guy Powell, County Agent of Kerr County, covering his services for thf; month of June,
1953, and it appearing to the Court that said report should be approved; therf:fore, by motion
duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by the Court and ordered filed
by the County Clerk for future reference.

No. 6167. APPROVAL OF APPLICATION AND ENTERING I1VT0 A CONTRACT V/ITH J. h". AULD FOR TERRACING,ETC
This the 14th day of July, A. D. 1953, after motion having been duly made by Powell, seeond-
ed by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Commissioner of Frecinct #4, be and
is hereby authorized to perform the duties by use of County maintainer when tl~e machinery of
Precinct ~4 is available, in accordance with the provision of Article 2372c, R.C.S., as per app-
lication and contract entered, as follows, to-wit:

Gentlemen:
In accordance vaith the provisions of Article 2372c of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, I
would like to have you come upon my land at my ranch on Hwy. 41-83, 40 mi. Dlr. of Kerrville,
north field ~6, for the purpose of improving, terracing, protecting or ditching the same. I
will pay you the standard county charge for such work toward the conservation of the fertility
of my land. I believe that this work would be for some public benefit and as!c that you do so
find .

Part, and J. P~4. Auld, hereinafter called Party of the Second Part, contracts as follows:

Party of the First Part, in consideration of the hereinafter mentioned undertaking (or pay-
went) of the Party of the Second Part agrees to furnish county machinery to Party of the Second
Fart for those uses as set forth in accordance vaith Article 2372c of the Revi:>ed Civil Statutes
of the State of Texas, charging for such use of County Paintainer of Prec. 4, at the rate of
EIGHT & NO/100 Dollars per hour.

Party of the Second Part, in consideration of the hereinbefore mentioned undertaking (or
payment) of the Farty of the First Part agrees to pay the county for the use of County Iliaintain-
er of Prec. 4 & operator machinery at the rate of Eight & No/100 Dollars per hour.
