This the 14th day of July, A. D. 1953, after motion having been duly made by Powell, second-
ed by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Commissioner of Precinct #2, be and
is hereby authorized to perform the duties by use of county maintainer when the machinery of
Precinct ~2 is available, in accordance with the provision of Article 2372c, R.C.S., as per app-
lication and contract entered, as follows, to-wit:

In accordance with the provisions of Article 2372c of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, I
would like to have you come upon my land at Center Point, Bandera RD near Verde Store for the
purpose of improving, terracing, protecting or ditching the same. I will pay you the si;andard
county charge for such work toward the conservation of the fertility of my land. I bel'Leve that
this work would be for some public benef it and ask that you do so find.

Part for those uses as set forth in accordance with Article 2372c of the Revised Civil S',tatutes
of the State of Texas, charging for such use of County IvIaintainer & Operator, Precinct #2, at
the rate of EIGHT & NOj100 Dollars per hour.

of the Party of the First Part agrees to pay the county for the use of Covnty Raintainer & Oper-
ator, Precinct ~2, machinery at the rate of Eight & No/100 Dollars per hour.

This the 14th day of July, A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the Court the necessity
to pay the 3o Social Security on 53 employees, aggregating x`671.08, together with the administra-
tive costs figured at the rate of x.50 on each employee in the aggregate of X26.50 to the Texas
State Department of Public 4'delfare, Austin, Texas. It appearing to the Court that the Social
Security and administration costs for the quarter ending June 30th, 1953, should be paid to the
Texas State Department of Public Welfare as of even date herewith, and should be drawn on the
Social Security Fund of Kerr County. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie
and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw
voucher against the County Treasurer in the amount of X671.08 to cover the 3°fo wages for the
months of April, T.1ay, and June of 1953, and X26.50 for the administrative cosi;s figured on 53
employees at x`.50 each, payable to the Texas State Department of Public Welfa:'e, Austin, Texas,
out of the Social Security Fund of Kerr County, Texas.
