ON this the 20th day of July, 1953, came on to be heard the application of A. C. Ervain for
the approval for record of a certain plat and plan of an addition known as "Guadalupe Heights
No. 2"; And it appearing to the court that said plat, plan and dedication is in due anct legal
form, and that the field notes and plat thereof are prepared by a licensed land surveyor. of the
State of Texas, snd truly delineate the property on question: It is therefore ordered ghat the
same be adr!itted to record in the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, and that
this order be spread upon the minutes of this court.

This the 20th day of July, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the claims
and accounts filed against Kerr County, since July 17th, A. D. 1953, against the R. & B.. R. ;'J.
Fd. F. P;7. 1350. It appearing to the Court that said claims are true and just and should be
allowed out of the respective funds. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Povaell,
and unanimously approved by the Court, snd the County Clerk, be, and is hereby directed to draw
vouchers against the County Treasurer on both cla ims filed in like amounts therefor, payable
out of the R. 3c B. R. W. Fd. F. Tai. 1350, to the parties entitled thereto.

No. 6182. ACCEPTANCE OF DOIdATI0T1 FROI:." THE KERRVILLE BAR ASSOCIATION.
This the 20th day of July, A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the Court by Darrell Lochte,
Attorney At Law, acting on behalf of The Kerrville Bar Association, requesting permission to
install electric light appliances in the District Court Room on the wall behind the District
Judge+s Chamber. It appearing to the Court that The Kerrville Bar Association should be: familiar
with the kind of lights appropriate for this location and that such donation of such ele;etrical
apnliances should be accepted by the Court. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded
by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that The Kerrville Bar Association be: and is
hereby authorized to install electrical apnliances on the wall behind the District Jude+s Cham-

This the 20th day of July, A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the Court by James E.
Nugent, a claim in the amount of $175.00 for legal services in the condemnation proceedings of
marietta Kitchens and Gustav Oetterman, perfected along Farm to Tv4arket 1350 anal Farm to i~4arket
689. It appearing to the Court that T:Lr. ?Nugent should be entitled to X100.00 out of F. Td. 1350
and X75.00, out of F. ?r.. 689, for legal services rendered in County Court proceedings in Cause
X400, State of Texas vs. l?arietta Kitchens, and #403, State of Texas vs. Gustav Qetterman. There-
fore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimo usly approved by the Court,
that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to draw' vouchers in favor
of James E. Nugent, Attorney At Law, in the amount of X100.00, paysble out of R. & B. R. VT. Fd.

No. 6184. RESOLUTION `Ll? ACCEPT DEED FRO"'! JARIv?ON ESTATE, IIQ RE: uVAR T,4EMORIAL EIIIILDING.
This the 20th day of July, A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the Court by James E.
Nugent, County Attorney, the necessity for the Commissioners' Court to enter an order on the
minutes, to accept a deed from the Jarmon Estate on the real estate situated across from the
Catholic Church on T,Iain Street, with the specific understanding that the public building thereon
will be dedicated to the veterans and war dead, subject to the deed to be hereinafter submitted
to the Court, and it appearing to the Court that such request should be complied with. Therefore,
by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court that
the Commissioners* Court of Kerr County agree to accept a deed from the Jarmon Estate for the
real estate situated across from the Catholic Church on Main Street with the specific understand-
ing that the public building thereof tiu>u1d be dedicated to the Veterans and uTar dead, subject
to the deed to be submitted.

This the 20th day of July, A. D. 1953, after motion having been duly made by Guthrie, second
ed by Goff, and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be,
and are hereby directed to draw voucher in favor of Wm. R. P:Teredith, C.P.A., i°or the balance of
the first six months, for auditing Kerr County finances, in the amount of X300.00, payable out
of the General Fund of the County. Further, that the County Clark and County Treasurer be direct
ed to pay said auditor the sum of X100.00 at the expiration oP each month hereafter for the year
1953, out of the General Fund of Kerr County, which amounts would also include; an annual audit
report for said year 1953.

This the 20th day of July, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court the application
of Jno. R. Leavell, County Judge, requesting a vacation Prom July 25th to August 1st, 1953. It
appearing to the Court that said officer should be entitled to a vacation and that same should
be granted. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approv-
