This the 20th day of July, A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the Court by James E.
Nugent, a claim in the amount of X175.00 for legal services in the condemnation proceedings of
\ ffiarietta Kitchens and Gustav Oetterman, perfected along Farm to P,'larket 1350 and Farm to T~4arket
689. It appearing to the Court that Par. Pdugent should be entitled to X100.00 out of F. T,4. 1350
and X75.00, out of F. Pa. 689, for legal services rendered in County Court proceedings in Cause
T~400, State of Texas vs. Paarietta Kitchens, and #403, State of Texas vs. Gustav Oetterman. There-
fore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court,
that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to draw vouchers in favor
of James E. Nugent, Attorney At Law, in the amount oP X100.00, payable out of R. & B. R. 'vY. Fd.

No. 6184. RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT DEED FROP:T JARP,?ON ESTATE, IN RE: a"1AR P1fETJIORIAL BUILDING.
This the 20th day of July, A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the Court by James E.
Nugent, County Attorney, the necessity for the Commissioners' Court to enter an order on the
minutes, to accept a deed from the Jarmon Estate on the real estate situated across from the
Catholic Church on Main Street, •raith the specific understanding that the public building thereon
will be dedicated to the veterans and war dead, subject to the deed to be hereinafter submitted
to the Court, and it appearing to the Court that such request should be complied with. Therefore,
by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court that
the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County agree to accept a deed from the Jarmon Estate for the
real estate situated across from the Catholic Church on Main Street with the specific understand-
ing that the public building thereof titin uld be dedicated to the Veterans and uYar dead, subject
to the deed to be submitted.

ed by Goff, and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be,
and are hereby directed to draw voucher in favor of dJm. R. .aeredith, C.P.A., ~°or the balance of
the first six months, for auditing Kerr County finances, in the amount of X300.00, payable out
of the General Fund of the County. Further, that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be direct
ed to pay said auditor the sum of X100.00 at the expiration of each month hereafter for the year
1953, out of the General Fund of Kerr County, which amounts vro uld also include; an annual audit
report Por said year 1953.

of Jno. R. Leavell, County Judge, requesting a vacation from July 25th to August 1st, 193. It
appearing to the Court that said officer should be entitled to a vacation and that same should
be granted. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approv-
ed by the Court that the vacation be granted as applied for.
