Davis, District Engineer of the Texas Highway Department, discussed the proposed 1954- 1955 State Farm to Market Road Program now being formulated by the State Highway Commission. During this discussion the County officials presented information and suggestions relati~re to the road needs of their County. The District Engineer requested that the County Commissioners' Court make a formal recommendation to him in regard to the most needed secondary roads of Kerr County, listing them in order of priority with the understanding that only a verq limited number of pro- jects could be authorized. The projects recorunended for consideration were as follows: .-. The District Engineer stated that the recommendation of the Court would be given full consi- deration by his office in the submission of the recommended program and that the State Highway Engineer would be informed as to the recommendation of the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County. It was fully explained to the Commissioners' Court that it was the desire of the Highway Commission that only the most meritorious secondary roads be incorporated into the state main- tained system in order to render the greatest possible service to the public and that the: pro- gram would be recommended to them on that basis. It was further explained to the Commissioners' Court that the program vaould be Yormulated by the State Highway Commission after a study of the submission from the District Engineer of `~ the State Highway Department and the County informed of the action taken by the Highway Commis- sion through the office of the District Engineer.^ -' o-o-o-o-o-o-o No. 6188. APPROVAL OF PLAT, DEDICATION, AND FIELD NOTES, 4YOODLAND ADDITION NO. 2. On this the 6th day of August, A. D. 1953, came on to be heard the application of A. G. RODGERS, of Kerr County, Texas, for the approval of a plat and field notes and dedication of an Addition to the town of Ingram, Kerr County, Texas, and being apart of the 1:39 acres out of Survey 128, Jonas Harrison, Kerr County, Texas, described in Volume 72, page 284, Deed Records of Kerr County, `Pexas, and which Addition is to be known as ~YOODLAP7D ADDITION N0. 2, to Ingram, Kerr County, Texas, containing 18 lots; and, after having considered the same, it appearing to the Court that said Addition dedicated and the field notes thereof meet with i~he requirements of law: IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED by the Court that said Addition, known as 'td00DLAND ADDITION N0. 2, to Ingram, Kerr County, Texas, be admitted to record;, and the County Clerk of Kerr County, 'T'exas, is hereby directed to record the same in the Deed Records of Kerr County, Texas.
