This the 12th day of August, A. D. 1953, canie on to be considered by the Court the applica-
r tion of ~?rs. Alma Scholes for the position of Public Health Nurse to serve the Common and Inde-
pendent School Districts of Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that +~°s. Alma Scholes
would be of a great benefit to the students in all Common and Independent School Districts where
there is no health nurse and that she should be employed at a salary of "~3000.O0 per annum and
allov;ed the sum of500.00 pcr annum as traveling expenses with her services t;o begin as of Sept-
ember 1st, 1953. Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by BartE;l, and unanimously
approved by the Court that the County Treasurer be and is hereby directed to draw voucher in
favor of t.'rs. Alma Scholes in the amount of X250.00 each month as salary, and X41.66, as travel-
ing expense, the first payment to begin on September 30th, 1953, and on the least of each month
thereafter until further determined by the Court, payable out of the General 7!und of Kerr County.

' 1953, and it appearing to the Court that said report should be approved; therefore, by motion
duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court and ordered filed
by the County Clerk for future reference.

IQo. 6217. CREATION OF ELECTION PRECINCT X18 OUT OF SECTION PRECIP?CT '~16.
This the 12th day of August, A. D. 1953, after motion having been duly made by Goff, second-
ed by Bartel, end unanimously approved by the Court, that Election Precinct fi1.8 be, and is hereby
created out of Election Precinct X16, and The Election Board of Kerr County be, and is hereby
directed to divide Election Precinct j~16, by a divisional boundary line which would, in their
discretion, eoualize the amount of voters in said territory in order that said. Election Precinct
may be designated and comprised of Election Precincts Nos. 16 and 18; that said Board be, and is
hereby directed to have submitted proper field notes for the two territories to be known as
Election Frecincts Nos. 16 and 18, by Thursday, August 27th, 1953, at which time same will he
passed upon by the Court.

No. 6218. A;VARDIi?G OF BID ON GAS BURNER AND LAYING GAS FIFE LIME TO COURT HOUSE BUILD IA?G.
This the 12th day of August, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court the final
disposition for awarding the hid of a gas burner and the laying of a gas pipe line from Jefferson
Street to the Court House Building, to 3. T. 'Nilliams. It appearing to the Court that said J.T.
'dvilliams was the low bidder and should be awarded such installation and construction, to be com-
pleted on or before October 12th, 1953, to be in compliance vaith the City Ordinance and in agree-
ment with the City Inspector of the City of Kerrville. 'wherefore, the Court is of the opinion
that upon the completion thereof, the County Clerk and County Treasurer should be authorized to
draw voucher in the amount of X937.00 in payment of the burner and pipe and installat-on thereof,
to comply with the bid presented to this Court on August 10th. Therefore, by :motion duly made
by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court that J. T. 'l~illiaa^s be awarde
the contract in compliance vaith his bid of August 10th, at a cost of937.00, and the County
~^ Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to draw voucher in like a~ unt, payable tc
N;r. J. T. ~~illiams, upon the completion and final inspection by the City Inspector, payable out
of the Kerr County Permanent Improvement Fund.
