Alma Scholes would be of a great benefit to the students in all Common and Independent School Districts where there is no health nurse and that she should be employed at a salary of3000.00 per annum and alloy;ed the sum of w500.00 per annum as traveling expenses with her services to begin as of Sept- ember 1st, 1953. Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Treasurer be and is hereby directed to draw voucher in favor of "~".r s. D. 1953, after motion having been duly made by Goff, second- ed by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Election Precinct x`18 be, and is hereby created out of Election Precinct X16, and The Election Board of Kerr County be, and is hereby directed to divide Election Precinct j~16, by a divisional boundary line which would, in their discretion, ecualize the amount of voters in said territory in order that said Election Precinct may be designated and comprised of Election Precincts Nos. 16 and 18; that said Board be, and is hereby directed to have submitted proper field notes Por the two territories to be known as Election Precincts Nos. 16 and 18, by Thursday, August 27th, 1953, at which time same will be L.. passed upon by the Court. o-o -e -o -o -o-o No. 6218. A`+'JARDING OF BID ON GAS BURNER AND LAYING GAS FIFE LIME TO C~L'RT HOUSE BUILDII~TG. This the 12th day of August, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court the final disposition for awarding the bid of a gas burner and the laying of a gas pipe line from Jefferson Street i;o the Court House Building, to J. T. Williams. It appearing to the Court that said J.T. lilliams was the low bidder and should be awarded such installation and construction, to be com- pleted on or before October 12th, 1953, to be in compliance vaith the City Ordinance and in agree- ment with the City Inspector of the City of Kerrville. ':'therefore, the Court is oP the opinion that upon the completion thereof, the County Clerk and County Treasurer should be authorized to draw voucher in the amount of .937.00 in payment of the burner and pipe and installation thereof, to comply with the bid presented to this Court on August 10th. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff,. seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court that J. T. ;Jilliams be awarded the contract in compliance with his bid of August 10th, at a cost of X937.00, and the County (~ Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to draw voucher in like amount, payable to T~Ir. YSichols, Tax Assessor and Collector, the 1953 annual report of delinquent and insolvent tax payers of Kerr County, and after thorough examination thereof, the Court is of the opinion that same should be approved; therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell, that said report should be approved, the motion carried with Goff not voting, so signifying by not having executed said report. o -o-o -o -o -o-o No. 6220. APPROVAL OF ANDNAL REPORT OF STATE AND COUNTY TAXES COLLECTED BY TAX ASSESSOR AND COLLECTOR. This the 12th day of August, A• D. 1953, came on to be presented to the Court by E. H. Nichols, Tax Assessor and Collector of Kerr County, Texas, an Annual Report of all State and County taxes collected as delin~,uents, errors in assessments and supplemental assessments of property owners of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1952. After examination thereof, the Court feels that said report should be examined and approved; therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the annual report of County and State taxes collected, as delinquents, errors in assessments and supplemental assess..,ents there- _ of, by affixing their signatures thereon. o-o-o-o-o-o-o No. 6221.
