and accounts filed against Kerr County, since August 10th, A• D. 1953, againsi~ the General Fund,
R. & B. j~3, and F. P,.. 1273. It appearing to the Court that said claims are t:aue and just and
should be allowed out o£ the respective funds. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded
by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, and the County Clerk be anci is hereby directed
,,., to draw vouchers against the County Treasurer on all claims filed in like amounts therefor, pay-
able out of the respective funds to the parties entitled thereto.

seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Commissioner of Precinct #3 be,
and is hereby authorized to perform the duties by use of County P,~aintainer, when the machinery
of Precinct ~3 is available, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 2372c, R. C. S.,

This the 19th day of August, A. D. 1953, came on to be heard the petition of Attorney Black- _
burn, representing Henry Blom, on the damages incurred to the property of Tdr. & Pairs. Blom in
the amount oP X7,000.00. Wherefore, the Court having carefully considered the bids of Barney
Baker and Jasper Poore to relocate the house of L4r. & hirs. Blom, as a result of .145 of an acre
taken for the use of Kerrville-Ingram Highway 27, is of the opinion that a fair and just settle-
ment for the damages to said t?r. & uSS. Blom, should be X5,000.00, and X87.00 for the .145 of
an acre figured at the rate of x`600.00 per acre, and that such amounts should be offered for
settlement at this time. Therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Goff, and unani-
mously approved by the Court, that the offer of settlement in the amount of X5,087.00 be, and
is hereby made to cover all dar.:ages and the price of the acreage used for Kerrvil-le-Ingram High-
way #27, in favor of Henry Blorr: and wife, in full and final settlement thereof.

This the 19th day of August, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court the necessity
to proceed with condemnation proceedings against J. I;.. Stooksberry, et ux, and R. Tv:. Iaontel, et
ux, property owners of proposed new right of way along F. ;,:. 689. It appearing to the Court that
the aforementioned parties have failed to accept the value for their land at the rate of200.00
per acre. Yherefore, the Court is of the opinion that it is necessary to institute conder.:nation
proceedings for such right of way and that James E. Nugent should be appointed to proceed in be-
half of Y,err County. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and w~animous-
ly approved by the Court that the County Attorney, James E. Nugent, be instructed to institute
the condemnation proceedings on J. Psi. Stooksberry and wife, Vesta K. Stooksberry, for .420 of an
acre out of Survey No. 101, in the name of J. F. Bettner; and against R. i~?. Itisontel and wife, ~
Alice Idontel, for .1.28 of an acre out of Survey No. 98, J. F. Bettner, as an offer of X200.00
per acre has been made to the aforementioned parties and same has been rejected.
