one week prior. to the hearing date hereof and after a thorough examination by the Court, and the

tentative budget should be approved, and that the County road, school and special taxes for
Kerr County for the year 1953, be, and are hereby levied at the following rates, payable on

This the 27th day of August, A. D. 1953, came on to be opened, the bids of Jack Ha^:pson,
L. B. Hough, Jr., and J. T. Williams, for the installation of a gas line extending and attached
to the building of the Public Weigher of Precinct ~l. It appearing to the Court that Jack Hamp-
son bid the sum of X55.00, L. B. Hough, Jr., the sure of X60.00, and J. T. 'Williams, the sum of
X65.00, and in the opinion of the Court, such bid should be awarded to Jack. Hampson, at the con-
tract price oP x"55.00. Therefore, by motion duly made by Bartel, seconded by Goff, and unanimous
ly approved by the Court, that Jac:: Hampson be awarded the contract to install a gas line, con-
sistin~; of one outlet in the office of the Public ;9eigher of Precinct #1, at the contract price
of x$55.00.

ty to communicate with the office of Public '1Jeigher of Precinct ~1, and that it vaould be bene-
ficial to the public to make such installation. Wherefore. the Court is of the on;n;nn tt,a+.
V. D. Powell, Commissioner of Precinct ~2, should be authorized to make the proper contacts with
the ;{errville Telephone Company, to make such installation. Therefore, by motion duly made by
Guthrie, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by the Court, that V. D. Powell, Cosr,:nissioner
of Precinct r2, be authorized to have a telephone installed in the office of Public 7Jeigher, Pre-
cinct ~1.

of the opinion that T;,r. Burney tivould be entitled to X310.60, figured at the rate of X200.00 per
acre, and that sa°.e should be paid out of the R. ~ B. R. !l. Fd. F. T.?. 689. Therefore, by motion
duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Po:vell, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County
Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to issue voucher in favor of `JJilliam
