This the 27th day of August, A. D. 1953, after motion having been duly made by Goff, second-
ed by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County Clerk be, and is hereby ^
directed to issue notice by publication for the purchase of one used Tandum driven motor grader,
between 70 and 90 h.p., for use by Commissioner of Precinct ~1. The bids thereon, to be deliver-
ed to the County Clerk not later than September 16th, A. D. 1953, at 10:00 o'clock A. TAI. The
purchase thereon, to be for cash, less a trade-in value of one used Austin-Western 99?~: grader,
with the County reserving the right to reject any and all bids.

This the 27th day oP August, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered the approval of the min-
utes as read on August 10th, 1953. 'therefore, the Court is of the opinion that the minutes as
read, should be approved. Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell, and
unanimously approved by the Court that the minutes stand approved as read, with the exception of
Order No. 6184, which was rejected by Commissioner Goff, to the effect that same should be
stricken from the minutes of this Court, as same is vague, indefinite, and out of order. ^

No. 6241. nTITNC PRO TUNC ORDER ACCEPTING FIELD NOTES OF ELECTION PRECIi~TCT NOS. 16 AND 18.
This the 1st day of September, A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the Court, the necess-
ity to enter an order Nunc Pro Tunc, as of August 27th, A. D. 1953, to accept field notes on
Election Precincts Nos. 16 and 18, and to designate StarY,ey School House, as polling place for I"
Election Precinct No. 18, i'dherefore, the Court directed the Election Board to present the field
notes on the hereinbefore mentioned election precincts by August 27th, and ':dhereas, same was
complied with, and it was the intention of this Court to enter an order accepting same and desig-
nating the polling places thereof. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie,

and unanimously approved by the Court, that the field notes of Louis Domingues, County Surveyor,
comprising Election Precinct No. 16 and No. 18, be accepted and ordered established, and the
designation of Starkey School House and American Pure ~~.ilk Company Building as polling places
for Election Precincts Nos. 16 and 18, respectively. The County Clerk, be, and is hereby direct-
ed to record the aforementioned field notes in the Election Precinct P.?inutes of his office, and
that the approval thereof, be considered as approved on August 27th, 1953.

seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Commissioner of Precinct =~3, be,
and is hereby authorized to perform the duties by use of County maintainer, when the machinery
of Precinct ~3 is available, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 2372c, R. C. S.,
as per application and contract entered, as follows, to-wit:

county charge for such wort, toti^~ard the conservation of the fertility of my land. I believe that
this v~rorl~ would be for some public benefit and ask that you do so find.

ment) of the Party of the Second Part agrees to furnish county machinery to Party of the Second
Part for those uses as set forth in accordance with Article 2372c oY the Revised Civil Statutes
of the State of Texas, charging for such use of maintainer & operator, X8.00 per hour; highloader
& operator, X3.00 per hour; and truck and operator, 2.50 per hour.

Party of the Second Part, in consideration of the hereinbefore mentioned undertaking (or
payment) of the Party of the First Part agrees to pay the county for the use of maintainer &
operator, X8.00 per hour; highloader & operator, x`3.00 per hour; and truck and operator, X2.50
