It appearing to the Court that proper publication has heretofore been made as required by .~. law, and that the aforementioned machinery companies have presented their bids in compliance thereof, and after thorough examination and consideration, the Court is of the opinion that the bid presented by H. VT. Lewis Equipment Company on one used Allis-Chalmers motor grader, '.:Iodel AD-3 has a guarantee of 60 days and can be purchased at x`4200.00, bq accepting as a trade-in, one used Austin-Western 99A°Plotor Grader. T7herefore, the Court realizes that Commissioner of Precinct ~1 does not have sufficient funds to purchase such equipment, and that same should be paid Prom the Road and Bridge Fund. Commissioner Guthrie is willing to have deducted Prom each apportionment hereinafter to be made, the sum of X200.00 to apply as a reimbursement in the paq- ment thereof. Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff, and unanimously app- roved bq the Court that the bid of H. W. Lewis Equipment Company Por one Model AD-3 Allis-Chalmer: Motor Grader be accepted and that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be directed to draw voucher in its favor in the amount of X4200.00, to be drawn on the Road and Bridge Fund, and that Commissioner of Precinct #l, be authorized to deliver one used Austin-Western A".otor Grader as a trade-in therefor. That hereinafter the sum of X200.00 shall be deducted from the original apportionment of Precinct #1 until the total of X4200.00 is allowed on the reimbursement on the aforementioned purchase. o-o-o-o-o-o-o No. 6277. DIRECTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS TO TOP ARCADIA LOOP ROAD AND OAK PARK ROAD. This the 16th day of September, A. D. 1953, after motion having been duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved bq the Court that proper advertisement be published for bids for the topping of approximately two miles of the Arcadia Loop Road and the extension of Main Street of Oak Park to Legion State Sanatorium property. All bids thereof are to be received on or before, and not later than October 12th, 1953, at 10:00 o'clock A. A'. All bids thereof are to be in accordance with the specifications Piled in the office of the County Clerk and County Judge, as set up by the State Highway Department.
