No. 6279. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS.
This the 23rd day of September, A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the Court the
August food bill for the prisoners of Kerr County, and the claim of James E. I~Tugent, County
Attorney, for services rendered in condemnation proceedings of J. N:. Stooksberry and R. 1s:. n:on-
tel in the amount of x`150.00. It appearing to the Court that such claims are 3ust and should
be approved, out oP the General Fund and R. & B. R. VJ. Fd. F. P,T. 689, respectively. Therefore,
by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, and
the County Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to draw voucher for each
claim as filed herein and out of the respective funds thereof.

No. 6280. 2dODIFICATION OF ORDER X6276 FOR PURCHASE ll?OTOR GRADER PRECINCT No. 1.
This the 23rd day of September, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court the nec-
essity to modifq Commissioners' Court Order #6276, passed September 16th, 1953, for the purchase
of machinery Prom H. VJ. Lewis Equipment Company. tiNherefore, the Court is of the opinion that
such order should be modified directing the County Clerk and County Treasurer to draw voucher
in the sum of X5200.00 instead of 4200.00 out of the Road and Bridge Fund, for one rebuilt
Allis-Chalmers AD-4 motor grader, serial No. 2992, motor No. 4A-2120, with scarifier No. 1G-606,
with 104 h.p. G. M. Diesel engine, instead of one rebuilt Allis-Chalmers AD-3 motor grader serial
No. 1F-814, motor No. 371-22945. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie,
and unanimously approved by the Court, that Commissioners' Court Order No. 6276 be modified to
purchase one rebuilt Allis-Chalmers AD-4 motor grader, serial No. 2992, motor No. 4A-2120, with
scarifier No. 1G-606, with 104 h.p. G. h.. Diesel engine, and that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to issue check in amount of X5200.00 in favor oP H. ifJ.
Lewis Equipment Company, payable out of the Road and Bridge Fund, which amount shall be in the
place of the x$4200.00 as set out under Commissioners' Court Order No. 6276.

This the 23rd day of September, A. D. 1953, came on to be examined by the Court, the month-
ly report of James E. Nugent, County Attorney of Kerr County, Texas, Por the month of August,
1953, showing an actual and necessary expense of X19.30, incurred by him in the conduct of his
office during said month, and it appearing to the Court that said report is true and correct
