D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the monthly report of deposits and collections of Albert Wilson, Public Weigher of Kerr County, Precinct #1, shovaing an aggregate of X227.77, of which $106.02 was collected and deposited for the month of September, 1953, and the sum of X121.75 was collected for the period beginning July 30th, 1953, through September 15th, 1953, inclusive, and it appearing to the Court that said report is true and correct and should be approved, and that the City of Kerrville should be entitled to one-half of the receipts over X100.00, which would be in the amount of $63.88. SHERIFF AUTHORIZED TO RENOVATE AIQD PURCHASE MATTRESSES AND MAKE REPAIRS TO THE JAIL. This the 12th day of October, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the applica- tion of Oliver Moore to burn all unfit mattresses and renovate the balance and replace any mat- tresses that are needed in the fail. Wherefore, the Court, after having inspected the fail, are of the opinion that said application should be granted and that glass should be replaced in the windows thereof, and that the necessary quantity of paint should be purchased in order that any trusty may paint the inside walls and ceiling. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court that the Sheriff be, and is hereby authorized and directed to renovate, replace and purchase any mattresses necessary for the County Jail and to replace and install any window glass and purchase paint to be applied on the inside thereof. o-o-o-o-o-o -o No. 6306.
