D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the sale of .81 of an acre of land belonging to Kerr County, which was auctioned off by Carl F. Schupp, II, Special Commissioner, at 10:00 o'clock A. M., on the 8th day of December, A. D. 1953, to B. D. Fowell, at a sum of X1700.00. It appearing to the Court that proper notice had been heretofore made by Carl F. Schupp, II, according to law, and that said sale, in the discretion of the Court, should be awarded to Mr. B. D. Fowell, as the highest bidder for cash; that said purchaser has presented a cashier's check for 10~ of the purchase price, and that Kerr County should furnish a guaranty title along with the deed executed by Carl F. Schupp, II, Special Commissioner; that the County Judge be authorized and directed to prepare the deed for Kerr County, and the County Clerk and County Treasurer be directed to pay Carl F. Schupp, II, the sum of X50.00 for his services as Special Commissioner herein and upon the consummation of this transaction, the proceedings of said sale should be deposited to the Road and Bridge Fund of Kerr County.
