No. 6370, CONFIRMATION OF SALE OF .81 OF AN ACRE AT PUBLIC AUCTION.
This the 8th day of December, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the sale
of .81 of an acre of land belonging to Kerr County, which was auctioned off by Carl F. Schupp,
II, Special Commissioner, at 10:00 o'clock A. M., on the 8th day of December, A. D. 1953, to
B. D. Fowell, at a sum of X1700.00. It appearing to the Court that proper notice had been
heretofore made by Carl F. Schupp, II, according to law, and that said sale, in the discretion
of the Court, should be awarded to Mr. B. D. Fowell, as the highest bidder for cash; that said
purchaser has presented a cashier's check for 10~ of the purchase price, and that Kerr County
should furnish a guaranty title along with the deed executed by Carl F. Schupp, II, Special
Commissioner; that the County Judge be authorized and directed to prepare the deed for Kerr
County, and the County Clerk and County Treasurer be directed to pay Carl F. Schupp, II, the
sum of X50.00 for his services as Special Commissioner herein and upon the consummation of this
transaction, the proceedings of said sale should be deposited to the Road and Bridge Fund of
Kerr County. Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded bq Guthrie, and unanimously app-
roved by the Court, that the sale of the .81 of an acre of land be confirmed as sold by Special
-- Commissioner Carl F. Schupp, II, in the amount of X1700,00, and said Special Commissioner is
authorized to execute a deed in his capacity; that the County Judge be, and is hereby directed
to prepare the deed from Kerr County in favor of Mr. B. D. Fowell; that Kerr County furnish a
guaranty Title and allow the payment of X50,00 in favor of Carl F. Schupp, II, for his special
services, and the proceeds of said sale shall be deposited in the Road & Bridge Fund of Kerr
County.

KERSHNER.
This the 8th day of December, A. D. 1953, after motion having been duly made by Goff,
seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the applications signed by
M. F. Weston, of Commissioners' Precinct No. 1, and Irene Lowry Kershner, Commissioners' Pre-
cinct No. 3, be approved and the contracts therefor be entered into by and between the members
of the Commissioners' Court and the abovementioned parties, and that the Commissioners oP the
„_. respective Precincts be authorized to perform such work accordingly, at a time when the machinery
and/or equipment is available, conforming to the provisions of Article 2372c of the R. C. S.,
said application and contract entered as follows, to-wit:

and accounts filed against Kerr County, since the last term of this Court, against the General
Fund, Road and Bridge No. 1, Road and Bridge No. 2, Lateral Road and Hridge No. 3, Road and Brides
No. 4, Lateral Road and Bridge No. 1, R. & B, R, W, Fd. F, M, 689, and Permanent Improvement
,~ Fund, and the necessity to confirm the weekly pay-roll oP the laborers as per sworn affidavit
Piled with the County Clerk for the weeks ending November 14th, 20th, 28th, and December 5th,
and 12th, 1953. It appearing to the Court that said claims and accounts Piled against each
