report oP Mary Jo Garland, County Home Demonstration Agent of Kerr County, covering her services
for the month oP November, A. D, 1953, and it appearing to the Court that said report should be
approved; therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved
by the Court, and ordered filed by the County Clerk for future reference.

and joint annual report of Guy Powell, County Agent, and Mary Jo Garland, Home Demonstration
Agent, for the year ending November 30th, 1953, and it appearing to the Court that said report
shows very satisfactory services rendered by the two departments and that same should be approv-
ed; therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by
the Court, and ordered Piled by the County Clerk for future reference.

This the 14th day oP December, A, D, 1953, came on to be presented to the Court, an applica-
tion by E. H, Nichols, Tea Assessor and Collector of Kerr County, Texas, for five special poll
tax deputies to assist in issuing poll tax receipts throughout Kerr County, it appearing to the
Court that the special deputies applied for era willing to perform such duties without any cost
to Kerr County end that said officer should be allowed to make said appointments and that this
Court should enter a confirmation for same; therefore, by motion duly made by Bartel, seconded
by Powell, and unanimously approved by the Court, it is therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed
that the application for appointment of five deputies by said Tax Assessor and Collector be con-
firmed and approved.

No. 6390. REAPPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL COb4MISSIONER FOR RE-PUBLICATION AND RE-SALE OF ,81 OF AN ACRE,
AT PUBLIC AUCTION.
This the 14th day of December, A, D, 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the public
auction awarded under Commissioners' Court Order No. 6370, as of December 8th, 1953, to B, D.
Powell. Wherefore, the Court has been informed that said sale was in error insofar as the publi-
cation in compliance with the sale of public lands was not in conformity with the law, and that
a necessity exists to reappoint a Special Commissioner and readvertise by publication for the
sale of the ,81 of an acre of land, located along State Highway 27 between Farm to Market 1338
end Methodist Encampment Road which belongs to Kerr County; that Commissioners' Court Order No.
6370 be set aside and that the time for sale should be set for Tuesday, January 12th, 1954, be-
tween 10:00 o'clock A, M. and 4:00 o'clock P, N., Therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, second-
ed by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Commissioners' Court Order No. 6370 be
sat aside; that Carl F. Schupp, II, be reappointed as Special Commissioner and that he be directed
