No. 6394. PETITION OF C. E. GILLIS, ET AL, FOR ABANDONMENT AND ORDER CLOSING ROAD. On this, the 15th day of December, 1953, came on to be heard the petition of C. E. Gillis, et el, to discontinue a portion of the old Hunt-Leakey road which passes across property herein- after described; and the Court after a full investigation of the proposed change, finds that the portion of the road requested to be abandoned has in fact been abandoned for some period of years end that Highway #39 replaces such road and that no portion of the road to be abandoned passes over and across Highway #39 and that the public interests will be better served by abandoning by Goff, by Bartel, such road, and upon motion duly made/and seconded/and by unanimous consent of all the Commis- sinners elected it was agreed that such portion of the old Hunt-Leekey road should be abandoned. PAYMENT OF X1200.00 TO SID PETERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ON INDIGENT PATIENTS. This the 15th day of December, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the Court, the claim Piled by Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital against Kerr County for indigent patients. It appearing to the Court that Kerr County should authorize the payment of X1200.00, payable out ^, of the General Fund oP Kerr County, as a pro-rata payment thereof. Therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by the Court that X1200.00 should be paid to Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital for indigent patients, and the County Clerk and County Treasurer be, and ere hereby directed to draw w ucher in said amount in favor oP said hospital to be drawn on the General Fund of Kerr County. o-o-o-o-o-o-o No. 6400.
