Kurt A. Holekamp, Robert Holdsworth and Eddie Biermann be approved and the contracts therefor
be entered into by and between the members of the Commissioners' Court and the aforementioned
parties, and ghat the respective Commissioners be authorized to perform such work accordingly,
at a time when the machinery and/or equipment is aveilahle, conforming to the provisions of
Article 2372 c, R. C. S.,said applications and contracts entered as follows, to-wit:

I would like to have you coma upon my land at 4 miles N. 'N. of Comfort on Cycress Creek Road
in Kerr County for the purpose of improving, terracing, protecting or ditching the same. I
will pay you the standard county charge for such work toward the conservation of the fertility
of my land. I believe that this work would be for some public benefit and ask that you do so
find.

This the 11th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court, the claims
and accounts Piled against Kerr County, since the lest term of this Court, against the General
Fund, Road and Bridge No. 1, Lateral Road and Bridge No. 2, Road and Bridge No. 2, Road and
Bridge No. 3, Lateral Road and Bridge No. 3, and Lateral Road and Fridge, and the necessity to
confirm the weekly pay-roll of the laborers as per sworn affidavit filed with the County Clerk
for the weeks ending December 19th and 25th, 1953, and January 2nd and 9th, 1954. It appearing
to the Court that said claims and accounts filed against each fund should be paid, and that the
payment of the labor bills as per sworn affidavit filed with the County Clerk for the weeks
aforesaid, be confirmed as paid. Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff,
and unanimously approved by the Court, and the County Clerk he, and is hereby directed to draw
vouchers against the County Treasurer on all claims Piled in the amounts therefor, payable out
of the respective funds to the parties entitled thereto; that the labor bills be conf izmad as
paid, for the tiveeks ending December 19tH end 26th, 1953, and January 2nd and 9th, 1954•

seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County Clerk be, and is here-
by directed to advertise for one 1954 four door automobile, equipped with radio and heater, to
be used by the Sheriff's Department. The County offering as a trade-in, one 1951 four door
Chevrolet sedan, and reserving the right to re3ect any and all bids. Said publication shall he
published once a week Por two (21 consecutive weeks and at least fourteen (14) days prior to the
day of such purchase, which is hereby set at 10:00 o'clock A. PL„ on Tuesday, February 9th, A.D.
