Party of the First Part, in consideration of the hereinafter mentioned undertaking (or

Second Fart for those uses as set forth in accordance with Article 2372c of the Revised civil
Statutes of the State of Teaas, charging for such use of Maintainer with operator - X8.00 per
hour; Eighloader with operator - .3.00 per hour; end Truck with operator - ~2.5G per hour.

This the 11th day oP January, A. D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court, the claims
and accounts filed against Kerr County, since the last term of this Court, against the General
Fund, Road and Bridge No. 1, Lateral Road and Bridge No. 2, Road and Bridge No. 2, Road and
Bridge No. 3, Lateral Road and Bridge No. 3, and Lateral Road and Fridge, and the necessity to
confirm the weekly pay-roll of the laborers as per sworn affidavit filed with the County Clerk
for the weeks ending December 19th and 25th, 1953, and January 2nd and 9th, 1954. It appearing
to the Court that said claims and accounts filed against each fund should be paid, and that the
payment of the labor bills as per sworn affidavit filed with the County Clerk for the weeks
aforesaid, be confirmed as paid. Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff,
and unanimously approved by the Court, and the County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw
vouchers against the County Treasurer on all claims filed in the amounts therefor, payable out
of the respective funds to the parties entitled thereto; that the labor bills be confirmed as

This the 11th day of January, P.. D, 1954, after motion having been duly made by Goff,
seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County Clerk be, and is here-
by directed to advertise for one 1954 four door automobile, equipped with radio end heater, to
be used by the Sheriff's Department. The County offering as a trade-in, one 1951 four door
Chevrolet sedan, and reserving the right to reject any and all bids. Said publication shall be
published once a week for tvao (2) consecutive weeks snd at least fourteen (14) days prior to the
day of such purchase, which is hereby set at 10:00 o'clock A. 2,5,, on Tuesday, February 9th, A.D.
1954.

to pay the 3~ Social Security on 50 employees, aggregating y~714.Q3, together with the administra-
tive costs figured at the rate of ~p.50 on each employee in the aggregate of x"25.00 to the Texas
State Department of Public Welfare, Austin, Texas. It appearing to the Court that the Social
Security and administration costs for the quarter ending December 31, 1953, should be paid to
the Taxes State Department of Public Welfare as of even date herewith, and should be drawn on
the Social Security Fund of Kerr County. Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by
Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County Clerk be end is hereby directed
to draw voucher against the County Treasurer in the amount of X714.03 to cover the 3% wages for
the month of October, November and December of 1953, and X25.00 Por the administrative costs
figured on 50 employees at x.50 each, payable to the Texas State Department of Public Welfare,
Austin, Texas, out oP the Social Security Fund oP Kerr County, Texas.

This the 11th day of January, A. D. 1954, after motion having been duly made by Goff,
seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to transfer the sum oP w33.74 from the Jury Fund, X882.06
from the Road and Bridge Fund, and X1764.13 Prom the General Fund to tY.e Social Security Fund,
to create a surplus fund in advance for the year.

No. 6413. REIMBURSEMENT TO CITY OF KERRVILLE OF OVERPAYMENT ON MOOIV'EY AIRCRAFT CONTRACT.
This the 11th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court the overpay-
ment of X123.00 by the City of Kerrville, to Commissioners' Precinct No. 2, for the iu,provement
on the Mooney Aircraft Contract et the Niunicipal Airport. It appearing to the Court that such
amount should be reimbursed to the City against Road and Bridge No. 2. Therefore, by motion
duly made by Powell, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County
Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to draw voucher in the amount of X123.00
payable to the City of Kerrville for the overpayment on said contract.

No. 6414. PAYN,ENT OF KERR COUNTY'S PRO RATA PART OF PAVEMENT IMPROVIIVIENT AT MUNICIPAL AIRPORT,
IN RE: TRANS-TEXAS AIRWAYS.
This the 11th day oP January, A. D., 1954, came on to be considered by the Court, the paving
improvements performed by Killian-Keller Company, in the amount of X2612.80, for the excavation
and flexible base to complete the paving improvements for Mooney Aircraft Corporation and for
the extension of the ramp for Trans-Texas Airways. It appearing to the Court that Kerr County
has heretofore agreed to share one-half of the expense thereof, and that such amount should be
paid out of the Permanent Improvement Fund in favor of the City of Kerrville. Therefore, by
motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Gourt, that the
County Clerk and County Treasurer be and are hereby directed to draw voucher in favor oP City of
Kerrville, in the amount of X1306.40 Por Kerr County's one-half oP the improvements to the Muni-
cipal Airport for the use and benefit of Mooney Aircraft Corporation and Trans-Texas Airways.
