This the 12th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be'considered by the Court, the fixing
of the salary of Henry B. Engelman, Justice of the Peace, Precinct no. 4, Kerr County, Texas.
It appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to his fees of his office and that he
should be allowed some compensation for the ensuing year 1954, and that in the opinion of the
Court $300.00 should be granted. Therefore, by motion duly made by Bartel, seconded by Goff,
end unanimously approved by the Court, that the salary of Henry B. Engelman, Justice of the
Peace Precinct No. 4, Kerr County, Texas, be fixed at X300.00 per annum, payable tc said officer
in installments of X25.00 each, beginning January 31st, 1954. The County Clerk be and is hereby
directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer for said amount, payable out of the Gen-

This the 12th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court the fixing
of the salary of Roy A. Green, Constable Precinct No. 2, Kerr County, Texas. It appearing to
the Court that said Officer should be allowed some compensation for the ensuing year 1954, and
that in the opinion of the Court ~30G,00 should be granted. Therefore, by motion duly made by
Pew ell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the salary of Roy A.
Green, Constable Precinct No. 2, Kerr County, be fixed at ~p30U.00 per annum payable to said
officer in installments of X25.00 each, beginning January 31st, 1954. The County Clerk be, and
is hereby directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer for said amount, payable out of

This the 12th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court, the fixing
of the salary of Sam es E. Pdugent, County Attorney, and it appearing to the Court that said off-
icer is entitled to receive fees and commissions in the County and Justice Courts, and that his
salary should be fixed at x`900.00 per annum; therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded
by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the salary of James E. Nugent, County
Attorney, be fixed at X900,00 per annum, payable in installments of ~p~5.00 per month, beginning
January 31st, 1954, and the County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw vouchers against the
County Treasurer in said monthly amount payable to said officer out of the General Fund of Kerr
County.

This the 12th day of January, A. D. 1954, after motion having been duly made by Powell,
seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the salary of E. Gold, County
Treasurer, for the ensuing year 1954, shall be and is hereby fixed at X2500.00, payable in
monthly installments oP X208,33 each, beginning January 31st, 1954, and each month thereafter,
and the County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer of
Kerr County, payable to said officer out oP the General Fund oP the County.
