No. 6439. FIXING SALARY OF COUN`IY CLERK.
This the 12th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court, the
salary of Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, and it appearing to the Court
that said officer has heretofore received an ex-officio salary of X2200.00 and has retained the
balance of X1550.00 out of the Pees of his office; and that said salary should be fixed at
X2750.00, and should be authorized to retain the balance of X1000.00 out of the fees of his
office; therefore, by motion duly made by Bartel, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by
the Court, that the salary oP Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk, be fixed at X2750.00 per annum,
and that he be authorized to retain X1000.00 out oP the Pees of his office for the ensuing year
1954, and that said salary be payable X229.16 each month, beginning January 31st, 1954, tc be
drawn on the General Fund by proper voucher drawn by said County Clerk on the County Treasurer
of Kerr County, Texas.

No. 8440. GRANTING KERRVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY X300.00 PER ANNUM, AS INCIDENTAL EXPENSE.
This the 12th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court the grant-
ing of incidental expenses for the Kerrville Public Library. It appearing to the Court that
X300.00 per annum has been allowed by Kerr County for Poffier years and that said amount should
be regranted; therefore, by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously
approved by the Court, trat Kerr County allow the sum of X300.00 per annum for incidental expense
in favor of the Kerrville Public Library in monthly installments of X25.00 per month, beginning
January 31st, 1954. The County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw vouchers against the
County Treasurer in like amounts payable to the Kerrville Public Library out of the General Fund
of Kerr County.

No.g 441. APPROVAL FOR THE PAY~Yr~'T OF INCIDENTAL EXPENSE TO KERRVILLE NATIONAL GUARD.
This the 12th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court any assist-
ance that Kerr County might like to make to Kerrville National Guard for Incidental Expenses.
It appearing to the Court that the unit of the National Guard is of great assistance to Kerr
County as a whole, and in their discretion they should be allowed the sum of X10.00 per month
for incidental expenses; therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff, and unani-
mously approved by the Court, that the County Clerk be, and is hereby di ratted to draw voucher ~^
against the County Treasurer in amount of X10.00 per month payable to Kerrville National Guard
in monthly payments of X10.00 each, beginning January 31st, 1954, and each month thereafter until
further determined by this Court, said voucher to be drawn on the General Fund of Kerr County.

This the 12th day of January, A. D. 1954, after motion having been duly made by Guthrie,
seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County Clerk be, and is here-
by directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer, payable to Sallie Butcher of Kerrville,
Taxes, in the amount oP ,15.00 monthly for a pauper allowance to be drawn on the General Fund
of Kerr County, Texas, to begin January 31st, 1954.
