of December, 1953, in amount of X163.45, and it appearing to the Court that the itemized report
of collections and deposits as submitted, are true and correct and should be approved by the
Court; therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell, end unanimously approved
by the Court.

This the 12th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be examined by the Court, the monthly
report of Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk, of all fines imposed, judgments rendered and jury
fees collected in the County Clerk's office of Kerr County for the month ending December 31st,
1953, in the amount of X280.60, which amount has been collected and deposited with the County
Treasurer, and it appearing to the Court that said report is true end correct and should be
approved; therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approv-
ed by the Court and ordered Piled by the County Clerk.

expense report of Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk, for the month of December, 1953, showing an
actual and necessary expenditure of X864.58 incurred by him in the conduct oP his office during
said month, and it appearing to the Court that said report is true and correct end should be
approved; therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approv-
ed by the Court for such expenditures therein.

month of December, 1953, showing an actual and necessary expense of X1054.59 incurred by him in
the conduct of his office during said month, and it appearing to the Court that said report is

No. 1, showing an aggregate of w99.G2 collected for the month of December, A. D. 1953, and it
appearing tc the Court that said report is true and correct and should be approved and that the
City oP Kerrville should be billed for one-half of the deficit of x.98, which would be in the
amount of x.49 due Kerr Count y. Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by 'r ow el l.,
and unanimously approved by the Court, that said report be approved end the County Clerk be,
and is hereby directed to bill the City of Kerrville for one-half of the deficit of w.98, being

and accounts filed against Kerr County since Jar_uary 11th, 1954, against the General Fund. It
appearing to the Court that said claims are true and just and should be allowed. Therefore, by
motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that
the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to dray vouchers against the County Treasurer on all
claims filed in like amounts therefor, payable out of the General Fund to tY.e parties entitled
thereto.

This the 12th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court, the bids
of Peters or. Garage and Auto Co., Emerson A. Lutz Motors, and h~cKinney-Lindsay Iviotors, on one new
two tcn chassis truck with two speed rear end, with and without dump bed for Commissioners'
Precinct No. 4. It appearing to the Court that such bids ware presented in compliance with ad-
vertisement authorized by this Ceurt on December 15th, A. D. 1953, under Commissioners' Court
Order No. 6403, and, whereas, said notice of publication was published once a week for two (2)
consecutive weeks and at least fourteen (141 days prior to the date set for purchase. The Court
is of the opinion that Commissioner of Precinct No. 4 should be authorized to accept the bid pre-
sented by Feterson Garage and Auto Company, Por the 1954 h:odel 6103 Chevrolet two ton truck,
exclusive of the trade-in of one 1947 two ton Chevrolet truck with dump. Therefore, by motion
duly made by Guthrie, seconded by cartel, end unanimously approved by the Court, that Commission-
er of Precinct No, 4 be, and is hereby authorized to accept the bid of Peterson Garage and Auto
