conded by Powell, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the minutes be approved as read
and corrected.

No. 6464. ORDER DIR;;CTING THE REPAIR OF °.S~iALL COUPdTY SCALE OF PUPLIC ~YEIGHER.
This the 13th day of January, A. D, 1954, came en to be considered by the Court, the neces-
sity to make repairs to the small county scale being used by Public 'rleigher, Precinct No. 1, and
it appearing to the Court, that said scale should be repaired and paid for by the County, with
one half oP the expense thereof to be reimbursed by the City of Kerrville. Therefore, by motion
duly made by Goff, seconded by C>uthrte, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the afore-
mentioned repairs by performed and one-half of the expense thereof by billed to the City of Kerr-
villa.

No. 6465. REJECTION GF FUPLIC SALE PY AUCTION OTJ ,81 OF AN ACRE BELONGING TO KERR COUNTY.
This the 13th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to be considered b,Y the Court, the sale
of ,B1 of an acre of land belonging to Kerr County, which was auctioned off by Carl F. Schupp,
II, Special Commissioner at 4:00 o'clock 1'. iw.., as of even date herewith, which sale was in com-
pliance with the publication directed by this Court on December 14th, 1953. It appearing to the
Court that proper publications had been made according to the law, and that said sale was duly
made by said Special Commissioner in accordance with the law, and was sold to Vern Blodgett in
the amount of X925,00. It further appearing to the Court, that it vrould be to the best interest
of Kerr County, that said sale should be rejected by this Court. Therefore, by motion duly made
by Guthrie, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Gourt, that the aforementioned
sale by public auction be rejected.

ed by Powell, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the bounty Clerk be, and is hereby
directed to apportion the following amounts out of the Road and Bridge Fund to the respective
Commissioners' Precincts, to-wit:

The sum of w200,00 being considered credited to Precinct No, 1, to apply on the payment of
machinery previously purchased and paid out of tha General Road and Bridge Fund in the original
amount of X5200,00, thus leaving a balance of ~4200,OG due to the Road and Bridge Fund by Road
and Bridge No. 1, as set cut in Commissioners' Court Order No. 6280.

This the 19th day of January, A. D. 1954, came on to he considered by the Court, the claims
and accounts Piled against Kerr County since January 12th, A. D, 1954, against the General Fund, -,
and Road and Bridge No. 3. It appearing; to the Court that said claims are true and just and
should be allowed. Therefore, by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff, and unanimously
approved by the Court, that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw vouchers against
the County Treasurer on all claims Piled in like amounts therefor, payable out of the General
Fund and Road and bridge No. 3 to the parties entitled thereto.

This the 19th day of January, A. D, 1954, after motion having been duly made by Bartel,
seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Kerr County should authorize the
payment of X92,00 to Mrs. Phoebe Treadwell, for the care of George Leinsetter and Addie Lein-
setter, pauaers, in advance for the period from January 11th, 1954, through February 11th, 1954,
for Kerr County's pro rata share, to be payable out of the General Fund of :Carr County, by
voucher to be prcperly drawn by the County Clerk on the County Treasurer.
