A.. D. 1954, at the Court House thereof, in the City of Kerrville, Texas, a Special Term of the
Commissioners' Court, with the following officers present, to-wit:

and the Court having specially opened, the following proceedings were had, to-wit:

No. 6484. APPROVAL OF OFFICIAL BOND OF COUNTY CLERK.
This the 1st day of February, 1954, came on to be considered by the Court, the official
bond of Charles J. Rees as County Clerk, in the amount of X2500.00, with the American Automobile
Insurance Company, and it appearing to the Court that said bond is in due form and should be
approved. Therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved
by the Court, that said bond be approved and that said officer be and is hereby qualified, upon
his taking the official oath of office according to law.

No. 6485. APPROVAL CF F^L?R DEPUTIES AND/OR ASSISTANTS
Upon motion made by Commissioner Goff, and seconded by Conunisioner Bartel, the Court
unanimously approved request of County Clerk Charles J. Rees for four deputies and/or assistants
for the office of County Clerk. The County Clerk estimated the amounts _eee~sary to pay
safari:::: of the four assistants would be approximately X8000.00 through the year 1954, and that
the probable recei~ of the office would be anprox_imately ~9000.G0, and that disbursements of
the office other than salaries, would be approximately ~150.G0 through the year 1954. Under the
same motion th:e Court approved tite Deputation of Vada ";alters as Deputy Clerk
