This the 9th day of February A.D. 1954, came on to be presented to the Court, the necess-
ity to purchase certain pieces of surveying equipment, needed b,y the County Surveyor, in the
amount of approair!ately $350.00, it appearing to the Court that said Surveyor should be auth-
orized to make the following purchases:
1 - Hiway Type drag chain tape, calibrated to VARAS, 50 varas long - - - - -$ 35.00

Therefore, motion being made by Bartel, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the

This the 9th day of February A.D. 1954, came on to be examined by the Court, the monthly
report of Virgil Storms, Justice of the Peace, Precinct Pdo. 1, Kerr County,Texas,covering the
month of January, A.D. 1954, of crir.:inal cases filed, witnesses, judgments and jury fees col-
lected, showing the sum of ?77•a5, collected and deposited with the County Treasurer,entitling
him to a fee of $39.20 , and it appearing to the Court that said report is true and correct
and that said officer is entitled to his fees and that the same should be paid; therefore, my
motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by the Court, that said
report be approved , and that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed
to pay the fee of $39.20 to Judge Storms out of the General Fund of Kerr County, Texas.

report of Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk, of all fines imposed, judgments rendered and jury
fees collected in the County Clerk's office of Kerr County for the month ending January 31st,
1954, in the amount of $35.00, which amcunt has been collected and deposited with the County
Treasurer, and it appearing to the Court that said amount is true and correct and should be
approved; therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved
by the Court for such expenditures therein.

No. 6493 APPROVAL OF MONTHLY EXPENSE REPORT OF TAX ASSESSOR ATdD COLLECTOR
This the 9th day of February A.D. 1954, came on to be examined by the Court, the monthly
expense report of E. H. Nichols, Taz Assessor and Collector of Kerr County, Texas, for the
month of January 1954, shooting the actual and necessary expense of $828.25 incurred by him in
the conduct of his office during said month, and it appearing to the Court that said retort is
true and correct, and such expenditures should be approved, therefore, by motion duly made by
Powell, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by the Court for such expenditures indicated
therein.
