This the 12th day of April 1954, came on to be considered by the Court, the claims and
accounts since the last term of this Court, for Jury, Road and Bridge #1, Road and Bridge #2,
Road and Bridge ~3, Road and Bridge #~4, Fasm to Market #689 and General Fund. It appearing to
the Court that said claims are true and just and should be allowed. Therefore by motion duly
made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County
Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw vouchers against the County Treasury on all claims
filed in like amounts therefor, payable out of the respective funds, to the parties entitled
thereto.

Aaron Farris, on application of Oliver P,:oore, as Special Deputy Sheriff, to assist in Dog Tag
registration law enforcement. By motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie and unanimously

approved by the Court that this api,oint/ be appruvud with a salary of ~200.OG per month for
two or more months, and that he furnish his own transportation. Salary to be paid out of Dog
Tags Registeration Fund.

This the 13th day of April 1954, came on to be presented to the Court the necessity to pay
for 53 employees
the 4'~ Social Security/aggregating X980.46, together with the administrative costs in the amount
of X13.25 to the Texas Department of Fublic `Nelfare, Austin Texas. It appearing to the Court that
the 'Social Security and Administrative Costs for the quarter ending Iviarch 31st, 1954, should be
paid to the Texas Department of Fublic 'Nelfare, as of the date herevaith, and should be drawn on
the Social Security Fund of Kerr. County. Therefore, by motion duly made by Fowell, seconded by
