accounts since the last term of this Court, for Jury, Road and Bridge #l, Road and Bridge ~2,
Road and Bridge ~j3, Road and Bridge 1`4, Farm to Market #689 and General Fund. It appearing to
the Court that said claims are true and just and should be allowed. There°o re by motion duly
made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County
Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw vouchers against the County Treasury on all claims
filed in like amounts therefor, payable out of the respective funds, to the parties entitled
thereto.

Aaron Farris, on application of Oliver N.oore, as Special Deputy Sheriff, to assist in Dog Tag
registration law enforcement. By motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie and unanimously

approved by the Court that this appoint/ be approved a~ith a salary of200.00 per month for
two or more months, and that he furnish his own transportation. Salary to be paid out of Dog
Tags Registeration Fund.

This the 13th day of April 1954, came on to he presented to the Court the necessity to pay
for 53 employees
the 4 o Social Security/aggregating Sb980.46, together with the administrative costs in the amount
of w13.25 to the Texas Department of Fublic Welfare, Austin Texas. It appearing to the Court that
the 'Social Security and Administrative Costs for the quarter ending Iviarch 31st, 1954, should be
paid to the Texas Department of Public Welfare, as of the date herewith, and should be drawn on
the Social Security Fund of Kerr. County. Therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by

of Freeholders appointed to assess the damages in connection with the above matter to the various
landowners affected by said road, said road being 40 feet in width, the center line of which is
described by metes and bounds as follows, to wit:

Duke; said land belonging to G. C. Dowdy, being a part of the G. ~, Dcvvdy ra tate

Garivay and Survey 740, J. Kuykendall; said land belonging to Kyle Dowdy being out of
Survey 132, Dionicio Garivay and Survey 131, Joseph Beitel, a part of the G. E. Dowdy
Estate, item County, Texas, and said land belonging to J. E. Dowdy being out of Sur-
