This the 17th day of May A.D. 1954, came on to be examined by the Court the quarterly tab-
ular statement of Chas. J. Rees, County Ch rk, covering the indebtedness, expenditures and re-
ceipts of Kerr County, for quarter ending April 30th, 1954. Also the quarterly report of E.
Gold, County Treasurer, for said quarter. It appearing to the Court tlrat said reports are true
subject to audit;
and correct and should Ue approved;/that said reports should be publisried in the newspaper for
onetime. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, sec~nded by Bartel and unanimously approved by
the Court, and ordered filed by the County Clerk.

This the 17th day of May A.D. 1954, after motion having been duly made by Bartel, seccnded
by Powell and unanimcusly approved b,y the Court that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be,
and are hereby directed to transfer the sum of X55.00, insurance cn 2~ ton truck, from R & B #1
to General Fund, by Transfer f39, dated May 17, 1954.

This the 21st day of May came on to be considered by the Court the claim of Alma Scholes,
County Pdurse, in the sum of X25.00 for 40 hours training course at Lincoln School, McAllen Texas,
from June 9th thru June 15th, 1954. It appearing to the Court that claim is just and fair and
should be approved, therefore by motion duly made by Bartel, seconded by Powell and unanimously
approved by the Court that the County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw voucher in the
amount of ~v25.O0 out of General Fund.

N0. 6595 JUVENILE OFFICER APPOINTMENT
This the 21st day of May A.D. 1954, by motion duly made by Goff and seconded by Powell, that
Kerr County appoint a Juvenile Officer as soon as informed by the Attorney General of the State
of Texas, upon request already made; that Kerr County comes within the law and that the proceed-
ure for securing funds is legal. Unsnimously approved by the Court.
