County Tax Rolls for the year 1954, prepared by Emmett H. Nichols, Assessor and Collector of
taxes for Kerr County, Texas, and same having been found correct and in proper form, same were
certified and approved by the Court, as st:o•rvn by the Court Certificate of AFproval attached here-
to, duly sicr.ed by all of the merbers of this court in triplicate.

On triis day came on to be heard the :_rpl'cation of Robert Lee T4osty and Phil Swayze for
a racom:nendation by the Commissioners' Court of an application to the State Soil Conservation
Board for Federal Planr.in~ Assistance for Latershed Protection on Verde Creek in Kerr County
Texas; and after due consideration thereof, it is ordered, adjudged and decreed that the making
of said application be, and the same is hereby recommended by this court, for Verde Creek and
for any other watershed in Kerr County Texas; and it is further ordered that such recommendation
be signed by Judge Jno. R. Leavell, tree presiding officer of trris court on behalf of the entire
court.

On this the 27th day of September came on to be examined the claims of Bob Butler, carpen-
ter, and J. N. Jones, painter, for repairing and painting windows and doors of Court Hoase; pay-
able out of Kerr County Permanent Improvement Fund; and account of Lendon Fzlraer for black-topp
ing Peterson Drive and Roy Street, in the amount of X1595.00, payable out of Lateral Road and
Bridge No. 1. Dy motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Forvell and unanimously approved by the
court that the sar_e be approved for payment.

N0. b720 ORDER AUTHORIZING TERRACING CONTRACTS PERTAINING TO PRECINCTS NOS. 3 & 4.
This the 27th day of September A. D. 1954, after motion made by Bartel, seconded by Goff
and unanimously approved by the Court that the applications executed by H. C. Hardin and Joe
Fitch, Precinct #4; and of Arthur Allerkamp, Precinct No. 3, be approved and contract entered
into, by and hetween Commissioners Precincts Nos. 3 and 4 and afore:nanticned parties, as per
contract on file.
