By motion made by Powell, seconded by Bartel and unani- mously approved by the Court that the County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw vouchers against the County Treasury on claims filed in like amounts therefor, paya ble out of Genersl Fund, to the parties entitled thereto. o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 6722 ACCEPTANCE Or BID OF RAUSCHER, PIERCE & CO AS FISCAL AGENT FOR FLOOD CONTROL BONDS On this the 30th day of September 1954, carne on to be considered by the Court the bids of Austin ,Hart & Parvin; Dewar, Robertson & Pancoast; Russ & Company and Rauscher~Fierce & Co.,Inc. four bonding companies for a performance contract in the matter oP a proposed bond election to be held in Kerr County Texas, and it appearing that the bid of Rauscher, Pierce & Comipany was the lowest bid submitted, and that the same should be accepted; it is therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the bid of Rauscher, Pierce & Company be, and the same is hereby accepted, and it is further ordered that John R. Leavell, County Judge and the presiding officer of this Court be, and he is hereby authorized to execute said performance contract on behalf of this Court. R. Leavell, County Judge L. M. Guthrie, Commissioner Prec. 1 V. D. Powell Commissioner Prec. 2 Adolph Bartel, Commissioner Prec. 3 Lee Goff Commissioner Prec. 4 Charles Rees County Clerk when, among other proceedings had by the Court were the following: It was moved by Commissioner L, h:, Guthrie and seconded by Commmissioner V. D. Powell, that there be submitted to the qualified voters of said County who are property taxpayers and own taxable property in said County and who have duly rendered the same for taxation, the proposi- tion for the issuance of bonds of said County in the sum of X225,000.00, for the purpose of con- structing permanent improvements for Flood Control purposes, in said Ccunty, tire election to be held on the 23rd day of October, 1954; the motion carried by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners L. M. Guthrie and V. D. Powell County Judge Jno. R.
