ment in the amount of X66.66 for the month of October being due. Therefore, by motion duly
made by Guthrie, seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County
Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer in like amount

N0. 6757 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
This the 8th day of November 1954, came on to be examined by the Court, the claims and
accounts filed against Kerr County since October 11th, 1954, also to confirm payrolls paid out
of Road & Bridge #1 and Road & Bridge #4 for the month of October. By motion duly made by Goff,
seconded by Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that all claims and accounts filed

against General, Road & Bridge, Road & Bridge #l, Road & Bridge #2, Lateral Road & Bridge #3,

and Road & Bridge/Funds be approved and ordered paid as filed therein.

N0. 6758 CANVASS AND TABULATION OF GENERAL ELECTION RETURNS
This the 8th day of November A.D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court the returns
to be canvassed, to determine the results of the general election held on November 2nd, 1954.
Wherefore the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the 18 election precincts and
the Absentee Canvassing Board box, era of the opinion that said returns after having been open-
ed and canvassed are true and correct and should be approved.
Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie and unanimously approved by the
court that the returns as canvassed and tabulated in Volume 4, pages 29 through 38 inclusive,
and as certified thereto by each member of the court, are in all respects approved.

N0. 6759 PAYIt4ENT OF ELECTION OFFICERS
This the 8th day of November A. D. 1954, came on to be considered by the Court the claims
and accounts Piled by each election official indicating the number of hours each had rendered
in the performance of his duties voting and preparing the returns for the Bond Election, held
October 23rd, 1954, and the General Election, held on November 2nd, 1954.

It appearing to the court that said officers should be paid the sum of X1.00 per hour for their
services. Therefore by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved
by the court, that each official be allowed the sum of X1.00 per hour for services rendered in
the assistance at the elctions held on October 23rd and November 2nd, 1954, as per sworn affi-
davits filed herein and approved for payment.

N0. 6759 PAYMENT OF X52.00 TO DISTRICT CLERK, SIXTH ADMINISTRATIVE JUDICIAL DISTRICT
This the 8th day of November A. D. 1954, after motion duly made by Bartel, seconded by Goff
that Kerr County should authorize the payment of ~r52.00 to Emma Stewart, Clerk Sixth Adminis-
trative Judicial District, Del Rio, Texas, to be paid out of General Fund, by voucher properly
drawn by the County Clerk. Unanimously carried.

of Charles J, Rees, County Clerk, of all fines imposed, judgments rendered and jury fees collect-
ed in the County Clerk's office in Kerr County, for i;he month ending October 31st, 1954, in the
amount of 40.00, which amount has bean collected and deposited with the County Treasurer. It
appearing that said report is true and correct and should be approved; therefore by motion made
by Goff, seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by the Court and ordered filed by the
County Clark.

office during said month; and it appearing to the court that said report is true and correct
and should be approved. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Powell end unanimous-
ly approved by the Court, that such expenditure be approved.

This the 9th day of November 1954, came on to be examined by the Court the monthly report
of E. H. Nichols, Tax Assessor and Collector of Kerr County, Texas, for the month of October
1954, showing and actual and necessary expense of ~9i-2.50 incurred by him in the conduct of his
office during said month; and it appearing to the Court that said report is true and correct
and should be approved. Therefore, by motion made by Goff, seconded by Powell and unanimously
approved by the Court, for such expenditures indicated therein.
