out of the fees of his office; and that said salary ahould be fixed at X2750.00, and should be
authorized to retain, the balance of X1000.00 out of the fees of his office; therefore, by motion
duly made by Powell, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by the Court, that the salary of
R. V. Nichols, County Clerk, be fixed at ~r2750.00 per annum, and that he be authorized to retain

at X229.16 each month, beginning January 31st, 1955, to be drawn on the General Fund by proper

N0. 6880 GRANTING KERRVSLLE PUBLIC LIBRARY X300.00 PER ANNUM, AS INCIDENTAL EXPENSE
This the 11th day of January A. D. 1955, came on to be considered by the Court the granting
of incidental expense for the Kerrville Public Library. It appearing to the Court that X300.00
per annum has been allowed by Kerr County in former years, and that said smount should be re-
granted; therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved
by the Court, that Kerr County allow the sum of X300.00 per annum for incidental expense, in

favor of the Kerrville Public Library in monthly installments of X25.00 per month, beginning
January 31st, 1955. The County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw vouchers ag~:inst the

This the 11th day of January A. D. 1955, came on to be considered by the Court any assist-
ance that Kerr County might like to [riake to Kerrville National Guard for incidental expense.
It appearing to the Court that the unit of the National Guard is of great assistance to Kerr
County as a whole, and in their discretion they should be allowed the sum of x°10.00 per month
for incidental expenses; therefore, by motion made by Powell, secorded by Goff and unanimously
approved by the Court, that the County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw voucher against
the County Treasurer in amount of X10.00 per month., beginning January 31st, 1955, and each

This the 11th day of January 1955, came on to be considered by the Court, the fixing of
the salary oP Albert Wilson, Public Weigher, of Precinct No. 1, and that his salary be adjusted
between the City of Kerrville and Kerr County for the amount of X100.00 per month, or X1200.00
per annum. Wherefore, the Court having considered that the Public Weigher has heretofore avar-
aged approximately X100.00 in monthly collections for the performance of his duties as public
weigher, and that the City of Kerrville is entitled to receive one-half of fees collected that
exceeds X100.00, and be billed for one-help of deficiency of fees collected up to X100.00, not
