N0. 6684 FIXING SALARY OF AYLEENE 'NHARTON, SECRETARY TO DISTRICT ATTORNEY
This the 11th day of January 1955, came on to be considered by the Court, the fixing of the
salary of the secretary and stenographer for the District Attorney, Jim. W. Weatherby, in accord-
ance with Chapter 365, S.B. 2112 of the 52nd Legislature, which authorized a maximum salary in
the amount of X2400.00 per annum of which a pro rata portion in accordance with the population
of the County, whould amount to $33.00 par month, for Kerr County's share. It appearing to the
Court, that salary of the secretary of District Attorney should be fixed at `33.00 per month, .-.
payable out of the General Fund of Kerr County. Therefore, by motion duly made by Powell, sec-
onded by Goff and unanimously approved by the Court, that Ayleene Wharton, secretary to the
District Attorney, be paid X33.00 per month out of General Fund, as Kerr County's pro rata part
and that the County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw voucher in like amount, payable
to said secretary, beginning January 31st, 1955, and each month thereafter, for the ensuing year.

This the 11th day of January 1955, came on to be considered by the Court, the official boxed
of M. E. Lane as Constable of Precinct No. 1, in the amount of X1000.00, with Lawyers Surety Co.
and it appearing to the Court that said bond is in due form and should be approved. Therefore,
by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by the Court, that
said bond be approved and that said officer be and is hereby qualified, upon taking the official
oath of office according to law.

This the 11th day of January 1955, after motion made by Powell, seconded by Bartel and un-
animously approved by the Court, that the County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw voucher
against the County Treasurer, payable to Alda Evans of Kerrville Texas, in the amount of X15.00
monthly for pauper allowance, to be drawn on General Fund of Kerr County, at the close of each
month, until further order of the Court.

N0. 688'7 PAYMENT TO MRS LULA GATZ FOR CARE AND NURSING OF MRS ADDIS LINESETTER
This the 11th day of January 1955, came on to be considered by the Court, claimant Mrs.Luls
Getz, for nursing services, board and other means of taking care of Mrs. Addie Linesetter. Upon
reviewing the expenses incurred, fixed an allowance of X50.00 per month, payable in advance.
And the County Clerk and County Treasurer are further directed to draw voucher in favor of the
~rnnyside Nursing F.ome, beginning January 1st, 1955, continued thereafter while said patient is

properly cared for, to be drawn from General Fund, until futher determined by the Court. Motion
