WHEREAS, the requirements of traffic and boo el pro greae indicate thedesirability of
development of U. S. Highway 8'/ and State Highwgv 2'/ between San Antonio and %errvilla to
Interstate or Expressway standards within the very near future, and
WHERE43, it Sa clearly evident that a long-range plan for the development of these nignwa7
between San Antonio and %errvi lie is needed in order to coord ihate the proper development and
protection of the interests of the cities and counties involved, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire oP the County CoŽis sinners` Court oP 8e rr County to cooperate
with the Texas Highway Depa rtmeat in the long-range and progressive development ~f the highway
system of the State of Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE, HE TT RESDLPED by Ee rr County acting through its Commissioners` Court do
herenvith request the Texas Highway Department to prepare in cooperation with these bodies a
long-range plan of development for U. S. Highway 8'/ end State Highway 2v from San Antonio to
