relating to establishment of a retirement, disability and death compensation fund for officers
and employees of the State.
Amendment increasing the limit on the maximum monthly peyme nt to needy aged persons from
state funds from Twenty Dollars (;20) per month t0 Twenty-five Dollars (=25) per month subf eat
to oortain c0nd it ions for payment in excess of Twenty-one Dollars (=21) per month and on the
total yearly expenditure out of state funds for assistance to needy aged, needy blind, end need
children from Forty-two Million Dollars (#42,000,000)' per year to Forty-seven Million Dollars
(~47, OOO,OOQ) per year; sad a lloa sting sad appropriating additional sums, supplementing current
legislative appropriations, for payment 0f assistance grants.
Amendment to the Constitution of Tesas adding a new section to be known as Section 49-c
of Article III, authorizing the issuance and sale of Two Hundred Million Dollars ('200,000,000)
in boffis by the State of Texas to create the Texas Water Development Fund to provide financial
assistanoe to certain political subdivi sio na or bodies po litio end corporate of the State of
