applicat ion of E. H. Nichols, Tax Assessor and Collector of %err Covnty, Texas, which eprlica-
tion purpo rte that hie office force is unable to prepare said roll end that he desires to
enter into a contract with melody Hernhard to prepare said roll at the rata of 10~ per item or
written line, to comply with H. B. 406 of the 52nd Leg Ssleture. It ap0earing to the Court
that said officer has inf5rmed the Court that none oP his help would be able to prepare same
and that by entering into a contract, the State of Texas would pay half of said Pee end under
those conditions same should be approved. Therefore by motion duly made by Commissioner V. D.
Powell, seconded by Commissioner David R. Brewton, and unanimously approved by the Court that
