office of County Attorney of Kerr County by virtue of the Hon. Joseph F. Leonard Jr. having
qualified to accept appointment to the office of District Attorney of the Second 38th Judi-
o1a1 District, and hie further having been administered hie oath of office in the presence
of the Court, and thereafter having submitted hie resignation to the Court, it wsa duly icon
by the Court that a vacancy in fact eaiets.in the office of County Attorney of Kerr Countyi
therefore on motion made by Commissioner Brewton and duly seconded by Commiesi oner Bartel,
that the Hon. Darrell G. Loohte, a duly licensed and practicing attorney at law of Kerrville
Kerr County, Texas, be appointed to the said vacancy; and said motion having been carried by
the following vote:
Commiaeioners Brewton and Bartel and County Judge voting aye, and Commiesionere Powell
and 9tons not voting.
It ie therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the Hoa. Darrell G. Lochte be ap-
pointed to fill the vacancy in the office of County Attorney, said appointment to be subject
to hie furnishing proper bond and qualifying ae required by law, until the next General
Election in 1960.
