N0, 8474 ORDER SETTING COUNTY OFPICIAL3 ON SALARY BASIS
On this the 11th day of January, 1960, at a Regular Term of the Commissioner's Court,
all members being present, there oame on for consideration the matter oY oompensatloa of the
various County Officials of Kerr County, Taxers, for the year 1960, ere provided Por in Articl
3912x, Section 2, B.C.S. of Tezas. And it appearing to the Court that Kerr County had a
populatiom of lase than 20,000 inhabitance according to the last Federal Census, and that
the interests of the County would be beet served if the County Officials of Kerr County errs
paid on a Salary basis for the year 1960;
Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Brewton, eeoonded by Conmleeioaer atone and uaan-
imously approved by the Court, it ie ordered that the County Officials be paid on a Salary
baeie ere provided by law, for the year 1960. Ztie further ordered by the Court that the
Clerk of the Court prepare a certified copy of this order and send same to the Comptroller
of Public Account s, Austin, Texas.

On this the 11th day of January, 1960, came on to be consldered by the Court the pay
for 3ury commission and fury service Por the County and District Courts, of =5.00 per day,
_and payment for meals when held over night on felony oa ee s, as passed by the 53rd Legielat
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Hertel, eeaonded by Commisai onar Stone, and
unanimously approved, that the Jury Commiesi on and Petit Jury service Yor the County and
Dietrlot Courts be paid the amount of 15.00 per diem, and that the County ie to pay for
furore' meals, whew held over the night on felox4V cases, for the year 1960.

This the 11th day of January, 1960, oame on to be considered by the Court the granting
of Panda for incidental eapenee Por the Kerrville Public Library. It appearing to the Court
that said library renders a service to Kerr County ere a whole, and in their discretion,
should be granted the sum oY 11200.00 for incidental ezpeneea, to be paid in a lump sum,
for the dear 1960. On motion made by Commissioner Brext on, seconded by Commissioner Stone
and unanimously approved that the County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw voucher
against the County Treaaurer Sn said amount, payable to the Kerrville Public Llbrary out of
General Fund.
