N0. 8474 ORDER SETTING COUNTY OFFICIALS ON SALARY BASIS
On this the 11th day of January, 1960, at a Regular Term of the Commissioner's Court,
all members being present, there oame on Yor oo neideration the matter of oompeneation of the
various Couaty Offioisle of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1960, ae provided for in Artiol
3912, Ssotion 2, R.C.S. of Tezas. And 1t appearing to the Court that Kerr County had a
populatiom of lees than 20,000 inhabitnnt^ saoording to the last Federal Cenaua, and that
the intereeta of the Couhty would be beat served iY the County Offioisla of Kerr County are
paid on a Salary basis for the year 1960;
Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Brewton, eeoonded by Commissioner Stone and unan-
imously approved by the Court, it is ordered that the County UYfioisls be paid oa a Salary
ba eie as provided by law, for the year 1960. It-ie further ordered by the Court that the
Clerk of the Court prepare a certified copy of this order and send same to the Comptroller
of Publio Aocou nte, Austin, Tezas.

On this the 11th day of January, 1960, oame on to be considered by the Court the pay
for fury oommieaion and fury service for the County and DSetriot Courts, of 15.00 per day,
,and payment for meals when held over night on felony oaeee, as passed by the 53rd Legielat
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Bartel, eeaonded by Commieai oner Stuns, and
unanimously approved, that the Jury Commission and Petit Jury aervios for the County and
D1etrlat Courts be paifl the amount of 15.00 per diem, aad that the County is to pay for
furore' meals, when held over the night on felony oaeee, for the year 1960.

This the 11th day of January, 1960, oame on to be considered by the Court the granting
of funds for incidental expense Por the Kerrville Public Library. It appearing to the Court
that said library renders a service to Kerr County ae a whole, and in their diaoretion,
should be granted the sum of 911200.00 for incidental expenses, to be paid in s lump sum,
for the Far 1960. On motion made by Commissioner Brewton, seconded by Commissioner Stone
',and unanimously approved that the County Clerk be, end is hereby directed to draw voucher
against the County Treasurer in said amount, payable to the Kerrville Public Library out of
Geneivl Fund.
